I don’t know if Miz is really THAT important for a playoff run. I mean I don’t know what his role would be. Coming in a 3-2 game in the 8th inning is a different animal in the nlcs for example. I just find it crazy that a guy pitching 75-85 pitches would blow his arm out. But that would involve discipline and actually being a pitcher. at some point pitchers need to pitch.

Even though it was tongue in cheek it would be nice to tell Miz we need 80-90 pitches from you and have him show some restraint and get some length. Like actually be a pitcher and not a thrower inatead of 4 innings 55 pitches of chaos. I don’t know if that does anyone any good this year
