The brewers have to start making more contact. They hit homers but really not much else. Doubles, triples, singles. Nah. That’s why a team who leads the league in homers is middle of the pack in runs. Let’s start making some contact. Moving the defense. It’s too damn easy out there right now for pitchers. Hopefully this is just a streaky team and the arrow points up soon

He was never going to be as good as last year. Especially not being in shape to start the season Guerra being our high leverage guy kind of sucks.

People really love Corbin He should be starting. He should be a second closer. He should be only a high leverage guy Man. I don’t know yet about him. He needs to just put some decent appearances together.

Obviously? Because you say so?? Again the fact that you don't agree doesn't make the other point of view wrong but I think you know that since I have to correct you just about every day. Not because anyone says so, because the objective data seems to support Hader not being overused based on his ranks relative to other relievers in appearances/IP & the rarity with which he throws on consecutive days. Hader is weird in the fact that using him (at least in the brewers mind) shuts him down for a few days. So over use or under use they just aren’t going to go crazy with him I could see us in a two run game tomorrow and he’s not available. And I’m ok with that. I would prefer him to be full strength in meaningful games in September. Losing knebel sucked for that fact alone

There are 96 pitchers with more relief appearances than Hader so far. There are 18 pitchers with more innings in relief to this point. Only three of his 31 appearances have come on consecutive days. He threw a total of 63 pitches over the nine days prior to today. It does kind of suck that you can’t use your stud on back to back days But I’m all for,the way the brewers use hader. You have to keep him fresh
