  1. The pendulum will not swing that way. It just won’t. Maybe with collective bargaining you might get your wish. But it just won’t happen
  2. To be honest pro sports does its best to mitigate free markets. Anyone who follows college sports that last few years and sees what absolute chaos a real free market does to sports leagues would lose their minds if this happened in mlb nba nfl leagues. Just thank god that a team like Milwaukee can still have the best record in baseball just imagine if any baseball player can leave at anytime to any team at any point in the season to the highest bidder with no rules in place. Or there was no draft and anyone can just go where they want believe me. It can be a lot worse than what it is. A ******* helluva lot worse. Sometimes people should just leave stuff alone.
  3. Last game of a ridiculously successful regular season. I don’t know if we will ever see the Milwaukee brewers finish with the best record ever again.
  4. I hate saying it but beating us in the playoffs is better than winning the division. I really don’t want that to happen
  5. I would hold off the doom and gloom. But the one good thing this bad stretch has done has kept the “brewers farts smell like roses and rainbows and unicorns and candy canes” clowns from coming on here after the fact anytime someone shows some concern im not ready to jump off a ledge as everyone else but I get it
  6. Miz has no purpose in the playoff roster. I’m glad we did this. Just to show everybody he is not going to be a lockdown reliever. He’s just going lose his head
  7. I think there is some of we have to turn around and play in a day. But we have a whole week off. I’m telling you we could throw two perfect games and win 20-0 with ten home runs these next two games and I do t think any of that carries over. all that matter is injuries. That’s it. We might lose the next series because we do t have three starters right now. And a patched up relief staff. Not the vibes
  8. Asking for a friend if the brewers win these next two games does that mean we are winning the next playoff series
  9. We have a lot of hitters nursing hamstrings, bruised wrists, chronic back etc. the week off should be good. They will be firing along with the crowd. But I really don’t want a billion cubs fans here
  10. They basically have a whole week off. I really don’t think these games are going to say much about how we play next week. They could be insanely hot and then still have a whole week off.
  11. Here is what we need to do frelick chourio yelich contreras vaughn turang collins durbin ortiz. And then pull his ass out when the bases are loaded and be done with it. Set it and forget it
  12. I’m ok with Priester losing his streak here. The superstitious side of me says it would happen in the playoffs.
  13. I don’t know why you play Contreras for defense when you got Babe Jansen waiting on the bench
  14. We could score ten runs every game for the next four games and still look terrible in the playoffs. We could look like crap now and still win in the playoffs. I don’t think these games portend anything. The only thing that matters is who is the next person to get hurt and be out of the playoffs woodruff going down was way more significant than Chourio not getting a hit for 3 games Or whatever
  15. Can you imagine if the cubs didn’t get swept in four games last weekend. I don’t know if anyone could have predicted that. We could have easily been still sweating a bunch of games this week. Thank god the cubs decided to end the race. And rather quickly.
  16. My guess was a once you get back home at the end of the week you will see better games. Going out to the west coast for meaningless games is not a recipe for great baseball. I don’t think people should worry about it so much. Priester just needs to pitch without getting hurt tomorrow. That’s all that matters
  17. Zimmerman taking one for the team tonight. Good for him
  18. Since these gams don’t matter I would love to see Murphy put out our best lineup once. in no particular order. Yelich frelick Chourio collins. Vaughn Contreras Turang Durbin montesario. Just see what happens
