    I know for sure Haudricourt doesn't think about Green at all. On one of his recent appearances on 540ESPN he was asked about options for 3B if Caseys struggles continue. All he could come up with is bringing up Gamel and giving him a shot. If prominent local beat writers like Haud aren't aware of players like Green, how would they ever think to ask Melvin about bringing him up?

    It's the old chicken and egg thing -- which comes first? Either the pitcher throws a gem or our players didn't hit well. Which is it and how do you determine which is really true? All I know is the Brewers have played 50 road games and have only won 18 of those. The chances are pretty good that our lineup is the one to blame for our road woes over the unlikely odds we have to tip our caps to 32 awesome pitchers that shut us down.

    So Arizona deserves no credit...? How was that not a great pitching performance? Just sick of hearing the company line by our announcers. I could cut them more slack and give more credit to the opposing team if I wasn't witnessing one of the worst road teams in all of baseball. This is getting old...everyone is a Cy Young against our lineup when we're on the road.

    It should, but will not happen. Put it this way, Brian the Automator has a greater chance of being kicked off this website than Counsell has being removed from the Brewers roster.
