With games scheduled the next two days, I can understand why you'd save those guys for a) a key moment in tonight's game or b) in the hopes you have leads in the next two games, you have two fresh relievers.
A lot of people didn't want to see Cruz go. and telling another poster or posters to SHUT IT isn't right. No matter if it is a tired argument or notSorry. Should of used ENOUGH instead of shut it. Tired of seeing stuff like that pop in the IGT. It's passive aggressive and baiting for reaction. It's irritating in the IGT when it has nothing to do with the game. It's passive aggressive to see the value of a player we had in our organization at one time and wish he was still on our team? Ok, color me passive aggressive on JJ Hardy as well then.
I said before the season ended the Cardinals were the better team and that is why I didn't want them to make the playoffs. The scary thing is you add Wainwright to the mix next season, and this division could get ugly.
I was wondering what inning would be the magic inning where we'd all complain that Kotsay didn't belong in CF tonight. Have to admit...didn't expect it to be in the 1st inning. By the way...I predict Carp doesn't let up more than 3 runs tonight. The Cards have enough right now.
And that's it for me...flipping this game off. Loe is BP tonight. Every seeing-eye single is finding a hole for STL...Yo, bring your A game on Wednesday!
Who was that earlier trying to spew garbage that Jay was killing us tonight? Last I checked, Pujols was 4-4 with 5 RBI and a HR. Yeah, it's Jay killing us. Sheesh.
Problem is, I can envision a scenario where Melvin brings him back next season. I can already see Doug's press release highlighting his smoke and mirrors stats like RBI and HR and neglecting his important stats such as OBP and OPS and defense.
