  1. In a selfish way, I hope the team he goes to next year finishes with a worse record than MIL and misses the playoffs while the Brewers make it. I get the feeling Prince will regret leaving MIL when it's all said and done...it would be very, very hard to even match the type of fun he's had with this group of players, his friends.
  2. I have no sympathy for Prince. If he's going to leave the Brewers and knows he's already gone, what's there to cry about? It's his CHOICE. I can't be upset, mad, or sad about it. If he wants to bolt for more money, I respect that decision. He's played extremely hard for the Brewers and I cannot ever question his desire, toughness, or competitiveness. Having said that, if he chooses to play for a rival like the Cubs or Cardinals, heck yes, I would boo as loudly as I've ever booed another player before. He's the enemy at that point, and it magnifies it 10x if he sticks it to the fans by choosing to play for a team that Brewers fans despise. I'm pretty sure I'd be in the majority at Miller Park if that's the case. I tried to be realistic in understanding if he's offered $40-50 mil more, sure, that's a lot of money and I cannot be ticked off at him for fattening his wallet. At the same time, I'd hate the guy with a passion and wish no success for him if he played for the Cubs. I'm just being honest.
  3. Cards win the series. Probably in 6 or 7. I've said it from the time the Cards acquired Furcal that he was the X-factor the Brewers needed to complete the roster. Since then, he's been a thorn in our sides and jacked 5 HR's in his limited starts against us this season. I think that dominance continues and I have to reign myself in from saying "I told ya so" to the stubborn Brewers fans that seemed to like to put his stats up vs. every other team besides the Brewers. Fact is, he helps them out defensively much more than Yuni helps us. The Cardinals have the more complete lineup as well and I think Garcia and Carpenter are favorites vs. any SP the Brewers can match them up against. Hope I'm wrong on this one, believe me.
  4. LaRussa is a good lookin' gentleman in my avatar.
  5. Wow. We are in for a heck of a series. You think LaRussa was bad during the regular season, he's going to bring out every mind game he can to try to out-manage RR. This is Packers-Bears NFC Championship-esque. Unreal. This sure makes the NL Central look good.

  7. Their innings hitting seem to last forever and push our pitchers to the limits. We go down quietly 1-2-3.

  9. Luc is struggling offensively tonight, but my oh my...what a helluva defensive game for him blocking all those balls (especially with guys on 3rd)...
