I know I’m in the minority - but I do not enjoy watching Freddy pitch He’s had an amazing year (stats wise) - but I still have no confidence in him as an ace come playoffs Hopefully this post will result in him throwing 8 shutout innings tonight … but I doubt he will go more than 6 hard to watch innings -
Stop getting thrown out

Would love to see Freddy help the bullpen by going 7 innings tonight Based on recent history - that may be unrealistic

Gasser? Followed by CRod?

2025 Minor League Transaction Thread
edfunderburk replied to Jim Goulart's topic in Brewers Minor League Talk
Can anyone share anything about this player? -
I don’t think Miz is a major league starter (at least - not yet) He’s had a few great games, a few okay games, and several bad games His greatest strength - he throws the ball really fast I hope he’s not in the playoff rotation UNLESS he shows drastic improvement in consistency between now & then His wildness (too many walks) has been on display at every level of pro ball

Angels just tied the Cubs 2-2 in the 7th
-
nice comeback after giving up the lead
-
Thanks but I’m not looking for a counselor You do you … I despise him as a Giants player
-
As of tonight … I no longer even like Adames I hope he struggles mightily the remainder of the year & enjoys watching the playoffs from his expensive couch I abhor former players doing well against the Brewers I could care less how much personality he has & how beloved he was as a Brewers player He is now an enemy

Frustrating game so far for the Brewers Is it early May or late August?
-
Base running stupidity is not putting pressure on the defense
-
This looks like early season mediocre Brewers baseball … boring, blah baseball … trailing a terrible team … waste of time watching them underperform through two innings 🤮
-
I won’t listen to 10 seconds of audio that gushes about an opposing player - no matter how impactful he was as a Brewer
-
It seems almost every game he pitches the forum posts in the early innings are similar … “Quintana not sharp tonight” Maybe he’s just an average innings eater who grooves low 90’s very hittable pitches that decent MLB hitters can smack for HRs
-
I stopped being a fan of Adames the day he left the team I remember feeling the same with with Molitor to Toronto in 1993 I won’t boo Adames & I enjoyed him when he was a Brewers player I did not think it was sweet just now or special for Willy to get a HR in his first at bat back in Milwaukee I hope he stays healthy & ages poorly so San Fran regrets investing so much in him for so long Good clubhouse guy, good player, good person … not worth the salary he signed for I hope he makes an error to cost his team runs & strikes out all weekend & goes back to his new home discouraged after an 0-3 road trip in Milwaukee - a city that loved him dearly

I fear the Brewers will miss Ortiz’s stellar defense more than they realize over the next few weeks. I hope it doesn’t cost us a game or two. It seems like organizational malpractice to have no quality options to call on from AAA. I understand all the reasons why not to add Pratt, but he would be a better 40-man option than Berroa. Time will tell. I hope we never miss a beat.

And yet you read all the posts like the rest of us addicts 😂

If Ortiz lands on IL … they need to add a slick fielding SS or move Turang over for a few weeks - which I don’t like at all
-
If Joey Ortiz lands on IL … Who is the best defensive SS in the minors … on 40-man & off 40-man?
