  1. Every time the Brewers put together a winning streak, George Webb gets incredible attention & is on everyone’s mind - such a fun story over the years!
  2. I had forgotten how much I dislike watching Civale pitch. I so much better to freeze the game, toggle around on X or ESPN , then check in to see if he got any outs. He is nothing special & his pitches are fooling any batters.
  3. The only reason Civale is a starter for Milwaukee right now is his $8M salary. We have a few young pitchers who are more capable than Civale & may take his place if he continues to perform poorly. I’d love to see him dealt to a team in need of a veteran pitcher. We are 60 games into the 2025 season & Civale has zero wins. Not sure anyone will take on his salary - roughly $5M remaining.
  4. That makes me super sad … he had such a remarkable 2024 … I hope he wasn’t a “one year wonder”
  5. Everything you wrote is probably accurate … but it seems highly pessimistic too. And that’s coming from someone who is not known for positivity on this board. 😏
  6. Wasn’t he pulled from his last AAA start due to injury? What is the nature & diagnosis of his injury?
  7. Both Ortiz (early) & Turang (late) display next level athleticism & middle infield expertise on rockets that could have easily been hits to start rallies. I love defense!
  8. Turner’s error is an example of why Ortiz is still valuable to the Brewers as he makes all the routine plays exceptionally well
  9. 13-13 (if lucky) I honestly believe this could be a more challenging month but it’s hard to go below.500 while the team is red hot
  10. We have 10+ quality starting pitchers once everyone is healthy. Majors: Peralta, Patrick, Civale, Quintana, Priester - plus Ashby & Hall Minors: Myers, Henderson, Misiorowski, Woodruff IL: Cortez, Gasser, Rodriguez (I hope he didn’t severely injure himself by pitching after a two-hour rain delay last week) Am I missing anyone else? Does Woodruff - based on previous MLB success - bring / add > value to the starting rotation than Patrick? I don’t believe he does … & I’m a HUGE Woody fan.
  11. The Alexander DFA was welcome news this morning I’d like to see new faces in place of Cameron & Monasterio too - whether that be promotions (Dalbec & Zamora) or a low-level trade I hope Patrick remains when Woody returns - I believe he may add more value in 2025
  12. I surely hope we find a way to keep Patrick in Milwaukee - he doesn’t deserve a demotion to Nashville no matter who returns from the IL
  13. I hope tonight’s game is the first of multiple piggyback starters to take advantage of our pitching depth when healthy
