  1. Are you suggesting otherwise? Do you think each team’s #1 starter is an ace? I believe there are probably only 15-18 aces MAX in the league & some teams have a couple of them (like we did last season)
  2. He was last year & it fit him & the team much better than being a #1 starter in 2024
  3. Have you watched Freddy all year? He’s had as many poor games as good games.
  4. Who are you referring to as an innings eater? We signed several oft-injured pitchers
  5. Are you watching the same game I’m watching? This is far too common for Freddy this year He’s a mid-rotation pitcher on a championship team
  6. He needs to find said strikeout pitch today
  7. Good grief, Freddy - This is the worst team in baseball … have a little pride
  8. Peralta consistently disappoints me His talent is undeniable His performance is always up & down He Is a solid # 3 starter - not an ace I wouldn’t trust him in a must win playoff game
  9. I will never understand why an employer (the Brewers) can’t “require” a player (Yelich) to move to 1B & make room for younger, faster players in LF I believe Black could be another LF candidate - if only Yelich would put the “team” first & move to IB & DH He has history there (high school, I believe) We have Hoskins in Milwaukee because Harper (younger & better than Yelich) was willing to move there & learn the position And yes - I’m aware that Yelich has “back issues” & 1B requires bending over, etc. I’m also aware that Yelich is an average defensive LF with a less than average arm (although improved some)
  10. That is an amazing statistic
  11. I 100% agree … I love his personality, his nicknames for his players, his “win today” mantra … but I’m not sold on his lineups or in game decision-making
  12. I certainly don’t hate Counsell … I dislike immensely HOW he transitioned away & WHERE he landed. I want the Cubs to lose - so that includes Counsell.
  13. Yes … I’m not suggesting we lose Freddy threw 111 pitches in his last start - his most ever And, we won the series against the White Sox And, it would be nice to win the opener Philly
  14. I would like to see the Brewers start Junk on Sunday afternoon against the White Sox & save Freddy for Philly on Monday night
  15. I wish we would start Junk on Sunday afternoon & save Freddy for Philly on Monday night
  16. I love Willy … but I fear he could become a Dansby Swanson & his well-deserved contract will not age well That said - let’s enjoy his final year with the Brewers
  17. Here are Yount’s stats in his age 18-20 seasons
  18. I agree Yount struggled both offensively & defensively - on a losing team - but he played daily … I believe he hit .250 with little power & made 44 errors at SS his first year
  19. Watching Chourio struggle at age 20 makes what Robin Yount did at age 18 in 1974 all the more impressive to me
  20. I was being sarcastic - Imanaga was unhittable for several games until he faced the Brewers
  21. Yeah … he looks like Imanaga today … getting pounded
