Murphy’s postgame comments explain his decision to remove Rea after six innings - he was battling a stomach virus
Now that makes sense
Rea is priceless - as a baseball fan, I love having him on the team
I like Murphy as far as team chemistry & personality but I’m not fond of his in game decisions - pitching substitutions or use of bench
I can’t imagine a better opportunity to rest the bullpen than today & letting Rea go 7 innings
Odd decision
I just looked it up & corrected the other post.
I couldn’t recall the exact name but I do remember he was great one year & fell off a cliff the next year
I’m not disagreeing with you … I’m asking an honest question too … Who is the backup first baseman if Bauers is the DH? I guess he could be & we lose the DH for the remainder of the game.
Who are the announcers? It seems they are guessing at the pronunciation of players names.
Fun game - great idea.
Hated to see Quero get hit on the hand.
The camera work is terrible.
Those two sentences appear to contradict one another
While batting average may not be the only OR most important stat … it does matter & it is significant … IMHO 😊
I’m glad Chapman didn’t end up with the Cubbies
I would have been thrilled for Milwaukee to sign him for 3 years & $54M
I’m fine with the frugal decision my management to roll with the youngsters - great days ahead
I’m excited for this year - not knowing where we will be come October
It will be a fun season with lower expectations
I’m glad we will welcome so many of our prospects to the MLB roster
