    I wasn’t a fan of this trade but I understand why he was added He is old & washed at 37 I’m still glad we didn’t trade any top prospects for a team that struggles so badly against horrible opponents

    Surely Uribe is not the best option here after his last meltdown a few days ago to lose in extra innings I’m tired of going to extra innings against such horrible opponents

    If Severino can walk & chew gum we lost the Santana trade I’m actually happy that Tellez is returning I’d rather keep Toro on the roster & release Santana - he’s been a big disappointment both offensively & defensively

    I may be wrong but I believe they hope to trade him like they did Naquin before the season ends I’m not sure he will get another opportunity with Milwaukee - but if he does - I will be his biggest fan every time he steps to the plate

    Yes - “another” Hiura thread He got his chances 2019 to 2022 He regressed He strikes out far too often He doesn’t have a defensive position He can’t hit LH pitchers Time to move on

    I would love to see Milwaukee go for broke & sign Matt Chapman to play 3rd & promote Tyler Black to play 1B I would also rotate Wiemer with Frelick or another OF until he makes mechanical adjustments - I can’t take another season of watching his at bats without some adjustments 🥴 BTW - you have two players in RF & no one in LF

    I’d love to see Matt Chapman sign with the Brewers (dream - no doubt) to bring stability at 3B as well as a true #4 “clean up” batter in the line up

    I don’t understand the financial plan behind this website - how it is profitable - but I would pay any reasonable monthly fee to have access to such incredible & detailed content each day - especially during the season. I’m gladly a “caretaker” (only $60 per year, I believe) so as not to feel guilty for consuming so much content for free! And it helps to bypass & avoid nuisance ads too. 😬 I enjoy the minor league reports at least as much as I enjoy the game threads & major league content. I wish I had access to similar content 40 years ago - back in the day - to follow young draftees & their journeys to Milwaukee. I was a little sad to see Tristen Lutz being released. He is from here in DFW where I live & I always had high hopes for his power bat. Thanks again to all those who take time to write daily reports for all the “True Blue Brew Crew” fanatics like myself. I can’t get enough! I have no idea where anyone finds the time to cover these minor league games with such excellence, but I’m grateful beyond words for these daily reports. Well done, friends!

    Such a sad but true reality I miss the days of starters going 8 innings almost every time out & throwing 300 innings per year

    Hiura was fun but I don’t believe he was as complete a hitter as Frelick He certainly didn’t offer anything other than his bat & that was unfortunately short-lived

    2024 is going to be fun baseball to watch again! Frelick, Yelich, Contreras, Turang + Mitchell, Black, Chourio - that will be enjoyable offense

    I’m not excited about Tellez or Winker returning to the roster - I hope neither one is activated this season Taylor may also be a DFA candidate if he can’t start hitting soon
