  1. Bittersweet … Winker still on the team & in the lineup again - batting .198 🤮
  2. Yeah … this is good news … the first of what I hope to be several bottom of the roster moves I can’t understand why Winker remains … Taylor hanging on by a thread too I prefer promoting our top prospects & AAA players to trading away our future for short-term help I wonder who is next? Do we need to add a bat from outside? A starting pitcher? Please don’t part with Black, Chourio, Quero, or Misiorowski
  3. This is 100% true
  4. Silly me 🙃
  5. Ding Ding Ding … Ladies & Gentlemen - we have a winner 🎉👏🙌💪
  6. All good points but … it was a GREAT trade for Milwaukee 💪
  7. I’m late to the party (work interrupted my Brewers baseball habit) but excited to see another Milwaukee victory & exceptional pitching performance from Cy Burnes 🙌⚾️💪 We need some bats but somehow these guys keep winning against quality opponents - even on the road I see that Winker remains on the roster but isn’t getting ABs - I approve
  8. This idea (bringing back Hader in a trade) seems to be another "sentimental" but silly idea The cost would be too great & we need bats & possibly a quality starter (depending on Miley & Woody injuries & recoveries) - not more relief pitching
  9. Zero chance of the Brewers adding Bryant ... terrible contract & poor production ... Rockies are stuck with him no doubt
  10. I agree - he's be my first choice among several potential Rockies players I also like Grichuk & Cron I'm not in favor of Blackmon or Moustakas ... & certainly not Suter
  11. I'd be thrilled to add an or all of these three: McMahon, Grichuk, Cron (in that order) I say no to Blackmon, Moustakas, & Suter (suggested in other posts)
  12. Please no to Suter ... he was a great teammate & an adequate Brewers player ... we don't miss him this year I believe this is more a "sentimental" suggestion than someone who would truly add value to an already strong bullpen
  13. This one is easy ... great trade by the Brewers ... grown men shouldn't pout like a few Brewers did after the trade ... the 2023 team would be in a much different place without Contreras & Payamps ... Gasser should add value next year & beyond ... GREAT trade! I don't miss Hader at all!
  14. A throw in with Contreras for Estury Ruiz … Arnold needs an extension
  15. Maybe we can send them Bowman from our minor leagues for a bat
  16. I’d say scoops are a fairly important part of the overall defensive profile for a 1B
  17. Sorry … I was watching on a short delay
  18. Tellez should be DFA’d … but he would have scooped the poor Adames throw & we would still be ahead in this game
  19. He should have caught the poor throw from Adames On that play, he made an error that cost us a few runs We have time to overcome his error, but it was costly He may very well be a decent 1B statistically, but he doesn’t look the part more often than not
  20. The eye test has been around longer than advanced analytics Trust your eyes - Miller is subpar at 1B
  21. Not a great throw but a quality big league 1B easily makes the scoop for the out That miscue proved quite costly Milwaukee must play good defense & have great pitching or they will be near .500 by the trade deadline This team has very little margin for error
