  1. How about Winker this year? Does he “deserve” more time? What are some better AAA bullpen options? I’m concerned that once we get past our “A” arms (Peguero, Payamps, Williams) that we may be in trouble - although Bryce Wilson has been good too I surely hope Peralta has a strong 6 innings + in him tonight
  2. Are you suggesting that “struggling” players aren’t allowed on the Brewers 26-man roster? If so - we may have difficulty filling out the roster No argument that Strez hasn’t pitched well recently - but his track record over the past year + has been solid Yelich was awful for three + years & was in the lineup almost everyday The same has been true for Winker this year - Adames too (until recently) So … looking at Mejia & several of the under-performers who have been added to the bullpen recently, it was my projection that Strez may return to add depth in the next few weeks … but I could be wrong 😬
  3. Two pitchers that could arrive shortly: LH Justin Wilson RH Peter Strzelecki
  4. I can easily think of 5 - maybe 6 -players on the current 26-man roster who could go away & I would celebrate: Winker, Tellez, Tapia, Perkins, & Mejia for sure I don’t recall a recent team with this many weak, bottom of the roster players I’d rather see Jahmai Jones, Keston Hiura, Abraham Toro OR a few trade acquisitions on the team in place of any of the above players In time - Tyler Black & Sal Frelick too I also wonder if Urias will ever figure things out - if so, he could also be an improvement
  5. If Ohtani falls through, the Rockies can send their Top 10 prospects to the Cardinals for Arenado They may also choose to pay a good portion of his remaining salary
  6. I may be alone - but I believe Tyler Black will have an excellent MLB career as a hitter with Yelich-level base running skills & better-than-average infield utility skills He “may” even be our future first baseman He should be our 4th ranked prospect slightly ahead of Frelick behind Misiorowski, Chourio, & Quero
  7. He didn’t fair well in that one outing … I believe his Nashville ERA is infinity (four runs allowed - no outs)
  8. Any chance Anderson goes to the IL & Jones (or someone else) returns or is called up from Nashville?
  9. Yes … he’s been on fire for the past month after a three year hiatus … reminiscent of 2018-2019 He was - however - 0-4 last night with a K … reminiscent of 2020-2022 😉
  10. And this would be against the same opponent
  11. I’m not a Dillard fan I do like Vinny Rottino
  12. I can’t watch the bottom of the ninth I’m going to follow here on the forum These 1-0 games are far too stressful We need to get some bats ASAP I can’t take three more weeks of this pitiful offensive performance
  13. I honestly like the Nashville batting lineup as much as I like Milwaukee’s Swap out Yelich & Contreras for a few of the Sounds & it is a better team
  14. Yes … that’s why I posted
  15. I’d much rather have Eddy Alvarez or Jahmai Jones - maybe even Keston Hiura - as the Brewers DH than Jesse Winker I truly don’t understand how or why he hasn’t been DFA’d yet - he’s had plenty of opportunities & over half the season to produce … mind-boggling I much prefer an outside acquisition to any of the three mentioned above but Winker & Rowdy Tellez are on thin ice as far as I’m concerned … I’m ready for change if only for change sake it is odd that Winker isn’t getting starts against RH pitchers but retains a 26-man roster spot
  16. Thank you! I was searching for this exact version of the 2024 Brewers schedule 🙌🏼⚾️
  17. 21 picks overall 2 third basemen 3 shortstops 16 pitchers 0 outfielders 0 second basemen 0 first basemen 0 catchers what an odd deal …
  18. Based on Keith Law's Top 100 Draft Prospects, Milwaukee has already drafted 5 of those players ... 17 - Wilken 40 - Pratt 49 - Bitonti 60 - Knoth 78 - Boeve If they sign all of these players, it will be a successful - Grade A - draft!
  19. Hopefully Taylor comes up to replace Tapia or Perkins ... I'm disappointed to see Jones optioned ... I like his RH bat & versatility
