  1. I’ve been surprised at his poor defense too. He simply missed a catchable line drive in the Yankees series - appeared to come in too far & it sailed past him … looked really bad on TV. I understand that he’s super talented but extremely young & inexperienced. Hopefully, he will get hot with the bat soon - he appears to be lacking confidence recently. Long-term, I believe he will be a very good player. It makes sense that 2024 was going to be a learning year - but overall, I’ve been a little underwhelmed … probably because of all the fanfare before he arrived. You can tell he never played in AAA.
  2. I’ll be curious to see what roster changes take place before tomorrow’s game against Tampa Bay. I assume Junk returns to Nashville since he pitched back to back days. Is it time to DFA Viera? Should we send Chourio & Dunn & Uribe to AAA? What other players could be exchanged with fresh arms & potential bats? Is it time to call up Black & Hicklen? Are there any “surprise” injuries that would allow an IL visit for a pitcher & the return of Koenig? It would be wise to shake things up a bit.
  3. We’ve been playing & winning beyond our talent for several weeks I predict a slide through May & June before a sell off at the trade deadline Maybe we can acquire some young talented pitching prospects to set us up for another winning stretch starting in 2026 This team doesn’t have enough talent or depth to win in 2024
  4. Pathetic I’d love to be GM for a day There would be a few bottom of the roster changes to address the offense There may be a few trades of prospects for pitching too
  5. Chourio needs to spend another year in the minors
  6. The Yankees might hit 325 homers if they played 81 games in Milwaukee
  7. I hope Freddy can throw 7 innings tomorrow Our bullpen is working far too much thus far
  8. If the bullpen is once again perfect We’re leaving far too many runs on the bases
  9. I think I’ve seen all I can watch tonight I hate to see the Brewers playing poor fundamental baseball multiple nights in a row Goodness …
  10. Yuck! That’s bad baseball. We look like a high school team right now.
  11. I hope that boneheaded decision doesn’t come back to bite us This could be a third straight loss in very winnable games
  12. I think that is on Murphy i don’t like his “in game” managing decisions
  13. Ouch - I don’t like any reference that compares my team to the dreadful Bears 🐻
  14. Is Wiemer a better option than Chourio for a game or two?
  15. Will they try to get five innings out of him or is he done?
  16. My Packers sweatshirt that I wear every night to watch Brewers baseball is older than Chourio He’ll figure it out soon - but he’s in a terrible slump
  17. I’m not a fan of Wilson starting I hope someone emerges soon to take his place
  18. True … & both of Sanchez’s homers have been rockets 🚀 So Black for Bauers only
  19. Time to bring an end to this nonsense I’m ready to see Black … & Haase Goodbye to Bauers & Sanchez
  20. I was already crabby - so what’s the next level I can expect if they keep playing poorly?
  21. The Brewers aren’t good enough to play with poor fundamentals
