  1. Watching the Brewers play these past few years is similar to … Watching the Badgers offense under Paul Chryst Watching the Badgers offense under Greg Gard Watching the Packers defense under Joe Barry
  2. It appears we may very well get swept at home by one of baseball’s all-time worst teams Six outs to go & no signs of life Even if somehow we muster up a rally & pull this game out - what a joke of a roster we currently have in Milwaukee
  3. So many counselors on this board 🙌🏼
  4. I agree Sadly - your post looks like a cut & paste from comments on Yelich in 2018-2019
  5. Only a few post on the IGTs these days & for whatever reason - anything other than “positive” comments gets push back & reminders to “get better perspective” - which is as frustrating to me as the Brewers mediocre play for the past two years
  6. Again - I’ve followed this team since its inception … I don’t need a reminder that “things could be worse” 🥴
  7. From all I’ve read, it seems he will walk away after the season to focus on his son’s college baseball careers I certainly don’t think he’s the problem If he does walk away - I hope we go outside the current staff & hire all new coaches under a young inspirational & fiery new manager
  8. Sadly, I watch far too often … that has been quite painful the past couple of years … the offense is so mediocre & the team overall has been uninspiring
  9. I believe keeping this team in first place or near the top of the NL Central into June makes this one of Counsell’s all-time best efforts … he should be a candidate for Manager of the Year!
  10. All of your comments are welcome … except for the last one It is NEVER okay to tell anyone on the board how to feel or process their frustration with this team Milwaukee is not good … I’m a realist - that is not loss of perspective & I never suggested that they were as bad as the A’s record-wise I’m confident that the 2023 Brew Crew is no better than the 2022 Brew Crew that missed the playoffs And … against one of the worst teams in MLB history - they have played horrid baseball this weekend No corrections or advice needed
  11. What a dreadful two years of mediocre baseball ⚾️ I hope there are no trades to try to improve this team I would much rather trade away anyone with value & restock with top prospects for 2024 forward I love the Brewers - will always root for them - but this is horrid baseball for much too long The Orioles series was the exception … this is more the standard for a few years running Yes, I’m aware we had a significant number of injuries … but still
  12. I’ve not seen his name in the Wisconsin lineup recently Is Eric Brown Jr injured? If yes - What is his injury & timeline?
  13. I don’t remember a year where Milwaukee had significant injuries at both the Major league & AAA levels at the same time This current roster has 10+ guys that I would not have anticipated “helping” us this year This may be one of Counsell’s better managerial jobs - keeping the Brew Crew afloat with injuries everywhere How long before we see … Wicho? Keston? Sal? Who else might join the Crew?
  14. Can they move Taylor to the 60-day IL & create a spot?
  15. I was hoping this would be the year that Taylor stepped up & showed why he was a top prospect with promise I was terribly disappointed when he had ongoing elbow issues that delayed his Spring Training & early season availability I agree that this very well could end his time in a Brewers uniform If so - I hope he fully recovers & excels in his next MLB assignment (unless he ends up in the NL Central)
  16. How long before we see … Wicho Keston Sal I don’t remember a year where Milwaukee had significant injuries at both the Major league & AAA levels at the same time This current roster has 10+ guys that I would not have anticipated “helping” us this year This may be one of Counsell’s better managerial jobs - keeping the Brew Crew afloat with injuries everywhere
  17. MSJ reports Taylor’s elbow is an issue again. May be wise to get surgery & go another direction. Who is healthy & available in Nashville? We would need a RH bat.
  18. Burnes looked horrible against San Fran recently He was throwing batting practice He gave up four HRs & never made adjustments His 2023 value is lower than 2022 or 2021
  19. Any chance Winker gets DFA’d? He’s been quite the disappointment & offers nothing defensively.
  20. There appear to be several roster changes coming in the next week Ruf or Voit? … there is not room for both on the 26-man roster Monasterio will return to Nashville once Adames is healthy Who gets moved down when Urias is added? I assume Brosseau Is Wiemer safe? What about Turang? I assume both will remain in Milwaukee What about our pitching staff? How soon will Woody return?
  21. Did we have an open spot on the 40-man roster to add Teheran or did we have to DFA someone?
  22. Rooker would have been nice as a return
  23. Does this indicate that Tyrone Taylor will join the Brewers in Colorado?
  24. I suggest the Angels move their AA team out west & the Brewers move their AAA team to Huntsville AL again. If they were make this move to Huntsville - I hope they change the name - currently the Rocket City Trash Pandas.
