Yelich is so fast 💨

He made Tellez & Voit look fast

Nice start Brew Crew 🙌👏🎉👍⚾️ I like our bench today

What YEAR is it? #YeliRakes

I’m surprised that you are surprised - he’s been horrid as a Brewer Hope you are fully recovered from that nasty stomach bug

I believe he would do quite well if he was facing Milwaukee’s offense 😂 Hopefully, he will do equally well against other MLB opponents I’m thrilled to see him pitch in the big leagues I’m equally happy to see Bush DFA’d - it was (past) time I’m exactly the same size as Clayton Andrews (actually 10 lbs lighter - but the same height) … so he immediately becomes my “favorite” Brewers player 🤓

What a fun inning This is the baseball I’ve been wanting to see for a few years now Beautiful to watch

That was enjoyable 🙌💪🎉 Yelich is playing his best baseball in four years I hope a few other players join him soon

You are incredible That was FAST 🙌 💪 ⚾️

Stearns may want to reconsider

Would love to know our record when scoring 2 runs or less

Truly amazing Equally exciting

To lighten the mood as we enter a stressful bottom of the 9th inning clinging to a one run lead … Did anyone see the Pete Rose quote from Sports Illustrated? He said - mocking current batting averages - that if he was playing in the big leagues today, he could probably only hit .200 Then he added: “But I’m 81 years old” Hilarious 😂

I feel about Winker like I did Cain this time last year … DFA is best solution

It's got to be among the worst in the MLB … history

Touché It is wise to place your faith in things eternal Good reminders of a few highlights from the last few years The up & down - mediocre baseball - has been more challenging than I remember in past seasons

Maybe I’m slow … I don’t understand “sesame”

That’s right - I keep forgetting that batting average no longer matters 😏

Peguero straight up for Renfroe would have been a WIN for Milwaukee He has several years of control, cost $10M less, & there were two other players included in the trade That was a great exchange by Arnold - which to some degree offsets the lack of offensive acquisitions

On the flip side … We have several villains (under performers)

Much improved, no doubt 👏🎉🙌 Nowhere near his best Brewers seasons Somewhat close to his Miami years Surely hope this is a sign of things to come for the next several years since we have no way of moving him with that albatross contract

You may very well be right So … if all responsibility falls onto the players … Should Winker & a few others be jettisoned - DFA’d? Should we simply hold out & hope they come around?

Good point 🙌🏼

It’s Sunday, so I will offer a Bible verse & contrast it with this Brewers team: Revelation 3:15-16 - Jesus said: “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm - neither hot nor cold - I am about to spit you out of my mouth.” There is nothing worse than “lukewarm” coffee. On several occasions, I have spit such coffee back in my mug … yuck! As a devoted baseball & Brewers fan, I would much rather this team be lousy than a middle-of-the-road .500 team. Ideally, I want them to be excellent (Rays, Orioles, Braves, D-Backs, Giants, Dodgers) … winning is fun! I can also handle losing IF it is part of a rebuilding plan. What is insufferable is mediocre … what we’ve been for two years now. I’d prefer we sell off our players who might bring quality assets & top-tier prospects - future contributors to a winning club. I’ve had about all I can tolerate of average, middle-of-the-pack baseball. I’m not a fan of the expanded playoff system because it allows Brewers-type teams to sneak into the playoffs - which (to me) is NOT the goal. Winning a World Series Championship is the only goal & this team has no chance. Please don’t rush to remind me of the few exceptions (2021 Braves, 2006 Cardinals). 😇

How has Alexander pitched in his previous three outings? Sadly, he may be needed in Milwaukee later in the season.
