  1. I have never been more befuddled than the 1/3 inning against SF … I’m still confused as to how he remained in the game long enough to give up 3 HR’s & six runs … that never happens to premiere closers …
  2. I’m okay with moving Wiemer & Small I hope they keep Turang, Frelick, & Mitchell
  3. Fact … he did not pitch well enough in elimination games … no one can argue with that fact
  4. I’m quite confident that Rogers - nor any other MLB pitcher - has ever had an inning remotely close to the meltdown bottom of the ninth that Hader recently had in San Fran … six runs on three HRs in 1/3 of an inning
  5. That would be interesting … if they move Narvaez, that is the 40-man roster position needed & Severino (who can’t catch) stays with Caratini being the starter
  6. David Hamilton level speed
  7. Is Lamet 30? I remember when he was considered a can’t miss prospect.
  8. I hope a few more moves are to come for sure - primarily a middle of the order RH power bat to help against lefty starters
  9. I agree 100% … this is the Brewer Way! Hope a prospect in this group pans out Hope Lamet gets completely healthy & bounces back to pre-injury potential
  10. I cannot express how happy this makes me The 1/3 inning (bottom of the 9th) against the Giants where Hader gave up six runs on 3 HRs makes this trade a dream come true for me And its even better to receive a successful closer in return It will be interesting to compare Hader & Rodgers stats & saves in the final 60 games of the season No doubt, Hader is the “better” player … but Milwaukee was never going to sign him to an extension … it was time to make a move I hope we get a RH bat without giving away top-level prospects I may be alone in my sheer joy - it will be fun to see if this proves to be a good trade I love this trade Yeah Stearns & Company ?? ⚾️
  11. Is there a link with all our picks & whether or not they have signed? if so … I can’t find it … help ?
  12. Even bad teams win when you give them four outs in an inning This is two games in a row the Brewers have hosed Ashby He deserves better from his teammates
  13. I read that each year he gets a “new” glove - which takes a while to break in Apparently, this year’s glove doesn’t work as well as gloves from previous years I suggest he retrieve his 2021 glove & try that one for a while
  14. I hate this topic heading - Hiura “slighted & demoted” I don’t want to see this topic at the top of the MLB thread I completely disagree with the idea that he was slighted … he’s been terrible for the better part of three years with a massive strikeout rate He did hit the ball fairly well for a few weeks before his recent well-deserved demotion Hopefully, this is a moot point in two days - I’d love to see him get a fresh start elsewhere in a trade The last thing I want to see is Hiura hang around so we can hope for a better 2023 He is what he is … a poor defensive player with some pop who may never live up to his potential (based of draft position) Yes, he had a great rookie season … pitchers adjusted - he has not done so in response
  15. With Urius taking a pitch off his left hand in his last at bat, we may see dad Mathias back in Milwaukee soon
  16. We cannot afford to lose Urius with Peterson out for an extended period … 3B depth already quite shallow We need to trade or release Severino in the next few days Inability to play defense anywhere other than 2B, 1B, & LF (all poorly) makes Hiura a top trade candidate too … I believe a change of scenery would be great for him & for the Brewers
  17. I’m not a fan of bases loaded ground out DPs … which we seem to do frequently
  18. No matter who we add - Gallo, Bell - we will miss Jace Peterson’s versatility & LH infield bat - his extended IL time is costly I do hope we add a difference maker … but with limited impact on the top prospect list (which may not be possible) I hope we protect Frelick & Mitchell in addition to Turang & Chourio I’m okay with Wiemer & Small being traded With the pitchers we already having returning from injury soon - I believe we are set there
  19. I would edit your post slightly - simply replace the words “might be” with “is”
  20. How rare … a GIDP to end the 1st inning after a lead off single
  21. I agree I like the pitching that will arrive soon from the IL One quality low-cost RH bat would be nice too
  22. Who would you sit if we get Bell? Tellez Yelich Cutch
  23. Milwaukee is a great road team I hope they play well at home in the last 60 games (35 at home)
  24. The exact example I would give too I hated that trade the day it was made I hate it more today
