  1. I’m a fairly conservative 61-year old pastor & I just did a cartwheel in my bedroom
  2. I love Peterson & Adames When is the last time we led by 9 runs? I’m so happy ?
  3. Here’s a good luck charm for the Brewers tonight … my three grandchildren came to visit this afternoon ?⚾️
  4. I will never understand Kelley having a roster spot
  5. St Louis isn’t going away - they’re sweeping the Pirates today & increasing their lead over the Brewers I hope we become sellers at the deadline Time to blow this team up & start with some fresh young talent & prospects I hope we don’t trade our prospects for stopgap players on expiring contracts only to get beat again in the early round of playoffs We missed our opportunity to improve the offense over the winter - then had a few injuries of our top pitchers It happens - time for some drastic changes
  6. We aren’t a very good team This is more than a slump
  7. Yes, you just might be
  8. Finally … a win Today was just enough offense & great run prevention Alexander has been helpful While happy with a win today, I’m still not convinced we are better than an 85 win team if healthy I love baseball … but nothing about this team is “fun” to watch I feel relief when we win rather than excitement
  9. I hope we’re brave & honest enough to be sellers
  10. How on earth does Kelley remain on the roster? And I agree that it is time to release Cain
  11. Oddly enough, I’m attending a wedding this afternoon too … it is an outdoor wedding in west Texas … temperature will be 105 This is the only experience I could have - sweating like the pilot in the movie Airplane - that could compare to the misery I experience watching the Brewers play baseball
  12. I’ve dreaded the day that the Cardinals took the lead in the NL Central … that could be later tonight I need to walk away so I can have a good weekend … what a shame to watch the season go up in flames We need more heart as well as more talent
  13. I love this team as much as anyone on this forum, but I’m incapable of not stating the truth - this has been an incredibly disappointing season to date It is alarming that we’ve remained in first place through 60 games based on what I’ve watched so far - I can only recall 5 or 6 well played games We’ve had a few “miracle” wins - Hiura HR in extras & Jace Peterson’s three-run triple in bottom of the ninth recently … or this slide would be even worse Trying to “stay positive” & “remember its a long season” doesn’t work for me The truth is - we are NOT a good team … especially without Peralta & Woody No fun at all to watch
  14. Despite my intense frustration with our level of play - I’m super thankful that Tony LaRussa is NOT our manager
  15. I don’t want to hear anyone (Brewers players or manager) - after another loss - downplay things & suggest “we’ll be okay … this is just a difficult stretch” I’ll admit I’m a fan of the fiery “Earl Weaver type” manager & players who get hacked off & express their frustration Something must change … this borders on 2002 bad baseball
  16. Same guys or not - they aren’t performing as well this year Pick a player & compare Renfroe & Cutch are new … JBJ (thank God) & Garcia are gone
  17. Good grief … we look - at best - like a .500 team How disappointing after a strong start I still believe this is more than a slump We are not (currently) a good team
  18. Which guy? That could apply to several players on both teams
