  1. I’ve wasted too many hours watching these pathetic games over the last several days I’m done for today & until Milwaukee management chooses to put a major league team on the field Several of the recent losses may have been averted - in spite of the 18 games in 17 days + multiple injuries to key players There are a few bats & gloves in Nashville that could have helped … Too many healthy Brewers are terrible - Yelich, Cain, Hiura, & Cutch included What poor leadership to concede games because we had unexpected injuries I’m going to enjoy my afternoon away from the Brewers unprofessional approach to the last week of games yuck!
  2. No one is answering the question regarding who the Brewers might **** out to make room for Adames & Renfroe in the next day or two Also … which pitcher goes down on 6/11 when Woody returns (hopefully Kelley - if not before)
  3. With Adames & Renfroe set to return to the active roster in the next few days, what two bats are removed? It seems Reyes has to stay to serve as the backup SS Does Huira return to Nashville? (Probably not … even though he offers nothing defensively & little offensively) Is Cain a DFA candidate? (I don’t think so, sadly … because of his history & salary + his defensive value) Why keep Kelley & Suter over some of the other promising middle relief options like Luke Barker?
  4. On this day in 1973, the Brewers selected Robin Yount with the #3 overall pick in the MLB Draft He only played 64 minor league games before becoming a starting SS at age 18 I was only 12 He became & remains my all-time favorite MLB player

  5. This tweet did not age well … it should have been in BLUE INK I’m a pastor so I believe in miracles … that said, the lineup both last night & today produced exactly what should be expected (back to back shutouts) It is a crime for Milwaukee to play some of these players & not call up Turang or Dahl over the last few weeks These lineups concede the win & accept defeat - that is unacceptable to me So glad I had my granddaughter’s dance recital & missed watching today’s game - last night was enough for one weekend - not sure what I will do tomorrow, but I expect a similar result
  6. On paper (or here in the game thread), this lineup looks horrible Watch the Brewers breakout with 12 runs this afternoon ?
  7. Who are the backup infielders … especially at SS? If Peterson moved to SS, who would move to 3B? I assume Urius is not available do to swelling on his thumb
  8. I hope Kelley throws 70 pitches tonight & gets sent back to AAA tomorrow Maybe it’s time to bring Adames back a few days early with the Urius injury We have no backup SS … & Reyes is the 4th string SS I wish Turang had come up when Adames went on the IL … but Brewers management chose to go with Urius & Brosseau instead I have to believe they are smarter than me regarding roster decisions
  9. Since this game is no fun … Take a quick glance at today’s MLB scoreboard I don’t recall ever seeing so many lopsided games on the same day - truly bizarre
  10. We win more than we lose - but this one is likely over Burnes had an off night - it happens rarely Our defense had another off night - it happens too frequently The main concern tonight is another injury - we need Urius back sooner than later
  11. Was he on the Brewers 40-man roster or was this an emergency (COVID) exception? Will Jackson return tomorrow from Nashville? Any chance we could see the red-hot Feliciano?
  12. I remember when Yount won the starting SS job in 1974 at age 18 (same as Chourio) after only 64 games in the minors He made 44 errors that year, but he was special I had no idea at that time how rare it was for such a young kid to make the big league team Here’s hoping Chourio continues his rise through the system & lands in Milwaukee by 20 or 21
  13. Fun & unexpected come from behind win … helps offset the last two losses to the hapless Cubs … both of those were winnable games Proud of the Crew Peterson is a “gamer”
  14. I’m old (61) …batting average will always matter to me ⚾️???
  15. I love Adames … but he was hitting .208 when he went on the IL … he’d been in a slide for a few weeks He did have the 9 HRs & lots of energy, but his bat was quite cold
  16. Suter ? 17. We actually have several candidates for that record - Cain, Yelich, Cutch ?
  18. There had to be a clause in Yelich’s contract that required he always hit in the 3-hole if he would take a hometown discount I don’t understand him hitting 3rd … along with Cain, he’s truly our weak link offensively A move to 8 in the line up would be more tolerable
  19. 100% agree … why double the pain … Cain & Yelich are unwatchable
