That seems unusual. What is normal? He only had the double play & an error last night. So, he has not had a ground ball to SS throw to 1B yet. That seems very uncommon.
Sproat could be like a trade deadline middle relief arm once he gets healthy. He can be excellent for two or three innings. It took Woody, Burnes, & Peralta a little time before they became quality rotation arms.
Sproat may get a lengthy IL, rehab break. His ERA is around 6 for the season. Brewers FO has been patient with him but someone may step in and steal his starting rotation role. Once Henderson returns - & potentially Woodruff … even Hardin - Sproat may need to “get right” in Nashville for several weeks once healthy.
This would be a brutal loss. No offense to speak of & we pulled one of our best hitters & replaced him with a punch & Judy .200 hitting Frelick. Horrible in game decisions despite our brilliant record & his back to back manager of the year awards.
