Just a reminder - The Brewers would be ahead 2-1 if Chourio had caught the deep fly ball at the fence rather than jumping into the fence & allowing a cheap HR to Fry. Now Drohan - who pitched well - is not able to get the win today. Hopefully, the Brewers rally & this becomes a moot point.
Kuhnel doesn’t excite me. He’s giving up far too many HRs early in his Brewers career. I understand we have no options to take his place with so many bullpen injuries. So far, he’s no better than Woodford.
If it is correctable - & I believe it is - why has he made this same mistake several times. In addition to his speed, athleticism, & incredible talent, he doesn’t have good instincts in the OF - left or center primarily.
When is the last time a Brewers OF robbed a HR?
A few years ago, we had several. I’m spoiled.
I don’t think Chourio has good instincts as an OF. I hate him in CF. I’m not too fond of him in LF.
BA was definitely not referring to me because I don’t want to sell off our prospects (future) for Skubal when we still have the Dodgers to deal with in the NL.
