  1. That was one of the best at bats any Brewers player will have all season Vaughn has been such a great addition to this lineup
  2. Freddy always makes me nervous. I seldom enjoy watching him pitch. He can be lights out or extremely hittable & wild … completely unpredictable.
  3. Our 9th innings have been ugly. It’s sad that we can’t close out these blowout games without using another pitcher.
  4. Now Monasterio proving he belongs on this 26-man roster … & giving Vaughn some rest by playing 1B in a blowout. He’s definitely a utility player.
  5. Brewers now 4th in runs scored in MLB They may also be 4th in runs allowed What a complete baseball team - in spite of various injuries The Average Joes are quite good it seems
  6. Will Hall get a three inning save in a 14-1 game? That would be ideal to keep the bullpen rested. Maybe McGee gets the 9th again … he may be our new Chafin.
  7. Joey is seeing the ball better the last few games. That’s exciting. He’s had a few hits to RF on high & outside pitches this weekend.
  8. I have an undergraduate degree in journalism & I was a newspaper editor in high school & college … yet, I’ve never used this word - tangentially - in a sentence.
  9. Seigler feels very similar to Dunn … trying to find a solid LH bat who can play multiple positions
  10. Not a lot of speed on the bases with Contreras & Vaughn. Great time for a Yelich homer to get the scoring started.
