We’ve had a few games like this in 2025 where we struggle to get the outs to close the game. -
If Burnes & Woodruff started their careers in Milwaukee’s bullpen, why can’t a few of our young minor league starters. We need quality arms that can get big league outs. Patrick, Henderson, Myers … all are much better than this rag arm.

He’s back! We need a few of our guys to catch fire with Chourio out. Great to see Wild Bill with a hot bat. He’s smoking the ball almost every at bat.

I agree that they made their choice to stick with Ortiz I believe it does matter … if he comes around & improves his batting, it makes Milwaukee a much better team come playoffs

Ortiz looks like he’s finding his stroke. If so, that could be huge for the Brewers in the final 1/3 of the season.

With Frelick, Turang, & Chourio (IL) not starting today, none of his leadoff guys were available. I assume Lockridge leading off will be the exception.

Every fifth day we need to score plenty of runs. It is unlikely that Quintana will hold any team under three runs in his six innings. Assuming he stays healthy, his greatest contribution may be eating innings & saving the bullpen.

I love everything about Murphy except his in game decisions (pitching changes, when he asks players to bunt, etc.). The pocket pancakes bit on AppleTV+ was hilarious. He has so much “woo” gifting. He literally is fun to be around.

By nature, I’m an “improver” (aka “perfectionist”) My wife of nearly 40 years tells everyone “my perfectionist personality” was cute … when we were dating 😏 You may not want to speak for your wife!
