  1. Good. I live just outside of Tampa and I already planned on getting tickets to a Rays v Brewers World Series. It was disappointing the Brewers didn't play in town this year, once they meet in the WS Ill stop holding that against MLB.
  2. The Brewers dont even play in the same league at the Dodgers. They have 2 guys making the Brewers entire payroll. While I have for years enjoyed the pursuit of the playoffs and hoping to "make noise", its becoming frustrating knowing that when they reach a new level, other teams just purchase another level, and its time to trade one of our guy before FA. If they lose to the Dodgers again, especially if Skubal and Ohtani are the stars of the series, I probably wont be able to have the same excitement for the next season. Not that anyone cares how much I care about baseball, but I just wanted to vent.
  3. Yeah, I get the the feeling the "oh shucks IDK" is just an attempt at humor.
  4. What, do you think Im drunk and feeling nostalgic? Il have you know that might just be the case.
  5. Bring Freddy home.
  6. If that would have gotten it done, I would have done it.
  7. Drohan? I know hes wasnt rated in the top 100. But he was a 27 year old prospect the Brewers looks like they coveted.
  8. They are all good. Though this win is why I love this team and worry about this team come the playoffs. I love that I feel like when the game is close later they will pull it out. And I worry because its.much harder to hold the Dodgers or Cubs to 1 run this late.
  9. For someone that doesn't follow other teams prospects, what is a Brewer comparable?
  10. Reminds me of Turang in that the power is going to come.
  11. Cooooooooop! (Makes me feel like im 6 again)
  12. I assume they are just trying to get him acclimated and are not playing him because he passed Lara.
  13. His celebrations are corny and I don't quite understand many of them. That said, I like them all, especially if they're playing the Cardinals. F' them.
  14. I know it frowned upon to root for injuries so Im not going to be the one to talk about Skubal's elbow.
  15. This will make it even sweeter when we beat them in the playoffsand win the WS. ^ all the optimism I can muster
  16. Watching Siri play LF makes me appreciate the Brewers OF's all the more. He might be a better boxer.
  17. If we have Skubal we have the best starter in 4 of 7 games at least. They go 3 of 4 in Skubal / Miz games, and only need 1 of the other 3. The Dodgers lose all the time, 42 games so far. There is no reason with the best 2 starting pitchers they cant win 4 of 7. I wouldn't make them the favorites necessarily. But there's a decent chance.
  18. This is what we do (yes we, my MLB subscription fee makes me part of the team, its in the fine print probably).
  19. Have patience, they will pull this out.
  20. The Angels lead all of baseball in non-stud earrings.
  21. Bauers (DH/1st) playes everyday and Vaughn (1b) / Yelich (DH) platoon.
  22. He could be required to play. On the other hand, they could embrace the sunk cost theory.
  23. Both of these teams are putting on a clinic in poor challenge decisions.
  24. Not a fan of Bauers playing RF. If Vaughn is playing 1b, DH is either Yelich or Bauers.
