    They were in the final 4 last year. Arnold had to trade his ace 2 of the last 3 offseasons due to payroll. And they lost to a team that had no payroll restrictions. Im sure if he was budgeted an extra 280 million per year (the differnce between them and the Dodgers) he could have figured out a way to sign Ohtani.

    Arnold is doing a great job. They had the best record last year. This year they are about to get to 40 wins fastest in team history. I have complaints about a couple roster spots. Woodford (fixed, or at least attempted to fix) and Perkins in particular, But overall the staff has done an incredible job. I cant believe there are Brewer fans that think Murphy or Arnold are problems. If that was supposed to be in blue font and it went over my head I apologize for being an idiot. Otherwise, I dont get it.

    Drohan, Vaughn, and Sanchez, its under the radar move day.

    That's not a bad idea. The NBA does "team rebounds" if the ball goes out of bounds after shot. Though that would skew historical stats.

    When you are 6 for 68 the bar is set pretty low. I've always liked Perkins. But at this point there has to be someone in the organization that could give you better production.

    First of all, I appreciate all your statisical breakdowns. No matter what it makes me think, sometimes it's, "that's about what I thought is would be," and sometimes it's, "I guess I was wrong about ____." So thank you. Now as it pertains to this post, is it that the Brewers pitching is more consistent than most? As in are there more games giving up 3-6 and less giving up less or more than that as compared to the average team. I ask because they seem to be dominant when they score 4 or more which doesnt necessarily mean an offensive onslaught. Not trying to give you a project just wondering if you had any statistical info on hand.

    I'll say the have some warts. But one of the warts was Woodford and Yoho looked promising replacing him. Another was Frelick's bat and hes been hitting better. Rengifo and Perkins hopefully are next. So, while I understand what you are saying, the warts might be decreasing. The promising thing is they have this record and some clear roster roles that can be improved upon.

    Yoho's innings were huge. In a similar situation yesterday the pen got lit up and even though the bats woke up late it wasn't enough. His 2 scoreless kept them in position to win. Also Bauers and Frelick, clutch

    I was thinking it was because they already has Ashby warming up when Yoho was on the mound, so why warmup a second guy if you have faith in Ashby.

    Im glad Yoho is getting another shot. I know he struggled a little last year in the majors (similar to this year's Woodford). But that was a small sample size, and looking at his numbers in Nashville, he's earned it. Im hoping he figures it out. At the very least, it will give them time to get an idea if they need to pick up someone for that spot at the deadline. I'd rather audition people within the organization now.

    12 teams in playoffs. 8 1/3% shot, 1 out of 10 is obviously 10%. Could be convinced to go up to 2 if they get the bye.

    They might need one or all of them to come through sooner rather that later depending on the current injuries and Woodford's performance.

    Agree in principal. They should have went with Woodford spot on the roster, last giy out of the pen. But if would be nice to have a better guy as you last guy out of the pen. I dont think Woodford is a legit MLB pitcher. I hoping they DFA him and start auditioning people for his job.

    What about against RHP, the majority of P's? I cannot for the life of me understand how anyone can defend a guy hitting .091/.178/.136. Thats terrible. I liked Perkins and his defense. He seems like a guy guy and I want him to be better. But hes been awful. And there is no good reason in my opinion to not try to replace him. To get 50% more production, 50%, a guy would only need to slash .135/.267/204. I have to think there is another OF in the organization that can do that or better. If they called up a guy who goes 3 for 30, that would be better, which is wild.

    Joey Ortiz has a .193 batting average. If given the opportunity, my batting average would be closer to Blake Perkins than Perkins is to Oritz.

    A couple weeks ago he had a terrible call go against him in the botton of the 9th witha challenge remaining and he let that go too. Hes the anti-Gary Sanchez.

    Is he? Miz has the best "stuff" theoretically, but statistically hes actually not. This is awesome that there is even a debate.
