  1. The worst case scenario when Yelich signed his contract is here. Also, the best case scenario for Ortiz moving over after bringing up Pratt.
  2. Yeah, if God came down and I said I can guarentee 6ip 3er from Gasser againt the Dodgers, or you can roll the dice, Id have taken the 6ip and 3er.
  3. Four different levels of arousal definitely gets the ball over the fence.
  4. Its the classic example of not being able to admit you are wrong. He made an off hand remark. Evidence was presented that showed he was wrong. Could have ended it with a simple, "you're right, Lockridge isn't any better, but my point stands, I dont think Lara will ever hit for enough power". That would have been reasonable, But it also would have admitted an error. Instead of admitting said error, the response becomes "but in Spring training...." Edit: And just as I finish typing, Lara lines one off the wall. Obviously someone with more power, like Lockridge, would have hit that out.
  5. Ill reserve judgement on that at bat until I see the exit velo data.
  6. And the glitter belts. Its eccentric, when you're hitting. Its tacky and clownish when you aren't
  7. No one hits the ball to the opposite field harder than Joey Ortiz, hes at the top. Great insight. Tim Dillard is the worst.
  8. Dillard get so excited about and rambling on about Rengifo afterward should be a fireable offense.
  9. If they felt comfortable playing Vaughn at 3rd twice this week, and he made 0 errors, then he should be playing ahead of Bae. Hell, play him at 2nd, couldn't have been worse.
  10. On the bright side, Im getting a full night's sleep tonight. Also, I really hate Rengifo, and Tim Dillard doing games.
  11. You crossed a line there, totally uncalled for. Lets try to keep things civil.
  12. Especially since they seem dedicated to handed match-ups in most other cases
  13. Wouldn't 10-0 mean the offense is even more anemic than losong 3-2?
  14. I already invested over 2 hours in this game. Should be asleep and less intoxicated. Im trying to muster all the optimism I have.
  15. You have to save your challenge for the 12th, I guess.
  16. I went from old-fashioned to neat. (Bourbon, not Brandi, but I respect it)
  17. Its been a while and Im less than sober. But Ill own it, you got me. I was thinking of the Yankees game, which of course was not "it all". Im dumb.
  18. Hot take, 3 old-fashioneds in, will deny it later if it fails take: Henderson reminds me of Greg Maddux. Not overpowering stuff, but everything is on the edges, almost every pitch is competitive, just gets outs.
  19. "Mitchell 6 for his last 58, but a lot of solid contact in there". Sure Jeff, sure.
  20. F' Rengifo and his .320 Padre average, that K felt good.
