  1. It could, and thats what I thought the plan would be with him. Im just saying they already have someone comfortable in that swing role so just inserting Small in the rotation would call for one less moving part. However, Im not taking staunch position on it either way. I trust the organization to develop the pitching staff. But if it was me, Id just give Small a chance at staying in the rotation.
  2. I agree, give Small the ball for Peralta’s starts. Bouncing between starting and relief isn’t an ideal role, and Ashby has handled it well. I’d rather give Small his normal role of starting rather than seeing if he can handle switching back and forth from bullpen to starter.
  3. Im not sure why Urias would be affected more than anyone else, everyone is hitting the same ball.
  4. Has anyone noticed how our cleanup hitter struggles against Righties?
  5. I remember when noone knew if Williams was ever going to recover with his hand, his era was 12 and hope was fading. Im sure it was longer but it feels like 2 weeks ago.
  6. Love Lo Cain. I wish he was hitting better, but still a huge fan
  7. I think Goodson counts as a late round RB. He was productive and test well athletically. I just read a list on NFL.com that has him ranked the best non drafted RB. I would not be surprised at all if he sticks.
  8. Looking at drop rates, Moore and Pickens have the best hands in the draft. Watson is a super athlete that can’t catch, which can be problematic for WRs.
  9. I think they are going to regret passing on Karlaftis twice, don’t hate their picks talent wise, but I think Karlaftis fell too far.
  10. Andrew Whitworth “ playing in the NFL is about what you do on and off the field” ** stands there as the Packers announce they are making a women beater a millionaire. Sounds about right,
  11. I personally hate that argument. A guy gets picked at (hypothetically) 19th, a ton of people will say "he would have been available at 30". Wrong, he wasn't available at 30.
  12. Thats said, Karlaftis is the best player left IMO
  13. Pickens and Skyy Moore have the best hands in this draft. I think they are still in a great spot still. Watson has the highest drop rate of any high rated WRs, scares me.
  14. Like their caddy, carries the bats to the on deck cricle for them.
  15. I was speaking more about the strength of schedule than specifically the offense. I saw today them listed as 29th in SOS. 11-7 is great, Im not complaining, but the offense is going to have to get better as the competition inproves. And I know SOS, like every other stat at this point is a small sample size, however I dont see those aforementioned teams getting much better over time.
  16. So far they played 22% of their games against the Pirates, 11% of their games all season are against the Pirates. They've also played 17% of their games against the AL Pirates (Orioles). Im happy with the record but also hoping Urias gives them a boost going forward.
  17. All things being equal the Brewers still win by .23 runs. Nothing to see here IMO.
  18. No Brewer "W" is boring to me. Ill take them all.
  19. I don’t know what the Braves WS has to do with the Brewers offensive struggles, but it’s always mentioned on here. The Brewers offense has plenty of room for improvement no matter who won last year. And the Braves advanced a round in the playoffs because the Brewers couldn’t score runs.
  20. This is the biggest problem to me. Yeah, some pitchers work slow, but I feel like a ton of the delays are on the batters. You just watched a pitch, how did your gloves get so loose you need to tight them? Is that extra half speed swing actually helping you do anything? It gets ridiculous. Also, do we have to watch the players jog off the field at the end of an inning? Cant they just immediately starts the commercials and limit between inning time? I dont think that extra 20 seconds of catch is improving anyones defense either.
  21. Yep, lets keep stacking these wins over the likes of the Pirates, they all count the same.
  22. Peterson was OK last year in arguably his best season as a pro. He'll be 32 in a couple of weeks. Hes off to a terrible start. I think you can make an argument it wouldn't be impractical for him to be the odd man out.
  23. That one just sounded different, Im not surprised that was one of the hardest hit balls in MLB this year.
  24. Booo...urnes, I dont think hes going to need many runs tonight
