Thanks Homer! With all the improvements going on across the organization - new Mudcats stadium forthcoming; Dominican Academy; Maryvale complex etc. - it makes covering the players all the more enjoyable. The Brewers truly are committed to offering the framework for players to develop. Hopefully, our humble acts help shine the light on how they are developing - through all the inevitable Ups and Downs.

Circling back to this. I'm currently writing a blog about '10 Surprises of the Brewers 2023 Minor League Season' and I realized I vastly overstated the number of hours I spend watching yearly. I had somehow tallied the last two years in a column of the seasonal records I keep. 😅 SO, realllllly, I spend somewhere north of 650 hours in a season watching games. On average thereabouts. Essentially 4 days a week of five hours per day across the affiliates. And, then I sprinkle in the AFL streams. And, on random 'off' nights during the summer I'll just zone in on a single game - I know, how silly of me! LOL. Anywho, just to be clear, I don't want to come across like an absolute mountain valley recluse! 1300 hours in a season would be...well, that would be something. I'd probably be on the ground in the Aussie League scouting!
