  1. Hard to disagree, honestly. That K looking was gross. I just don't see him cutting loose enough. And, I don't see him swing enough period. Those numbers don't lie. It's confounding.
  2. Man, he stares at a dead center belt high slider to go down looking. Come on, Brock. Swing the bat. My goodness.
  3. Man, after that defensive gem from Wilken I so want him to find success in this AB. Got the benefit of a ball call there. Whewww. 1-2 count.
  4. SO, did they rule that an error? Yes. They gave the error to Camaletti. He got absolutely eaten up on that hard hit grounder. Whewww. The Shuckers needed those runs. Likely a DP home-to-first if he handles it cleanly.
  5. Man, Pratt is overzealous here. Bases juiced. Clinging to a 2-0 lead with a bullpen struggling to hold leads and he swings at a curve in the dirt a foot outside the zone. Regroup, Cooper. Settle down young Buck.
  6. Restituyo continues remind me of what Yhoswar Garcia would look like down the line as a Double-A player. His swing just does not inspire confidence. He reaches for way too many balls for my liking. He gets the infield single to start the ninth but he swung at at least four balls in that AB that were nowhere close to the zone.
  7. He didn't get eaten up on that play. Are you talking about the liner through the SS/3B dirt? That was hit quite hard and it had a wild late hop that jumped his glove. That's not on him.
  8. Incredibly crucial piece of defensive work there. Huge. Huge. Play. I also have really enjoyed how Adams has been handling 1B tonight.
  9. My gods. Mr. Brock Wilken just saved Manfredi with an incredible stab and throw to 1B. Whewww. Two down. Massive play by Wilken. Manfredi rewards him with a slider three feet outside the zone for ball 1 to a lefty.
  10. This has literally been his trend since late last season in High-A. It carried through the AFL. He's going to have to dig deep. He just can't seem to find the zone consistently. Getting ahead 0-2 here is massive. Gotta follow through. We also have Yeager loosening up in the Pen - in 2025 his outings have been extremely nerve-wracking.😅
  11. Especially after seeing their 5-0 lead disappear into a 7-5 late-inning deficit. That was a gritty 'W'. Those two initial tying runs also came across with two down! I needed that after the Mudcats clunker 😅.
  12. Absolutely. He had a very rough debut. Tonight he is completely dominating the zone. The Barrons have nothing for his off-speed. Just got that check swing K on a high 'heater' to end his second inning of work. 2-0 Shuckers still clinging to their lead.
  13. Alfaro has two steals. Bitonti has no homers. Alfaro has two steals. Tonight!!!
  14. Oliva has been very good for the Sounds, man. Truly. He is an extremely underrated player. Incredibly athletic in the outfield. Dangerous on the basepaths. Nice swing at the dish. I really like him quite a bit.
  15. Hey that was a really nice clean inning from LHP Josh Maciejewski. He keeps the slate clean. Shuckers lead 2-0 into the top of the 7th. OLIVA!!!! TWO RUN BOMB. LET'S GO!!!!
  16. Cameron rips a two-run double to open the 10th after Zamora walked to open the frame. Man, Cameron has been absolutely massive for the Sounds since his acquisition. Sounds get back in front. 9-7. Let's go men. Let's take this one!
  17. Miz was inconsistent. He didn't take advantage of favorable counts and hung some pitches to the two hitters in the Knights line-up you can't hang pitches to. He looked good for spurts. I'd say, the outing in total was a mixed bag. Got some key punch outs. Didn't locate consistently. BUT, I also go to: he pitched into the 80's. AND, he took a 98 mph come backer off his right knee and got up under his own power and stayed in the game. Walking away healthy was likely the most important take away.
  18. Whewwwwww. EMJ misses a long ball to RF by about 10-12 feet right of the foul pole. Got a hold of that one but in front of the pitch. 1-2 count. Swings and misses on a high off-speed pitch. Whewwwww. Took some mammoth hacks in that AB. All he ended up to show for it was a long foul ball tallied a common strike. The bases are left stranded. BUT, the Sounds tie it with two two out runs. On to the bottom of the 8th.
  19. Oliva walks on a Challenge of an inside heater 3-2 pitch. AND he wins the challenge and it was inside by over 2". Well done, Jared! It's 7-7. AND, that is precisely why you Save your challenges for the latter half of the contest. EMJ up to the dish. Bases still juiced. Two down.
  20. Cameron gets a gift. Weak chopper up the 3B line. He fires across his body and pulls Elko up the line and he can't make the play. Bases juiced. Two down. Oliva will try to keep the two out rally going.
  21. Jimmy Herron has gotten his season going this series. I believe he has three more hits tonight? He just ripped a two out single to right CF and the Sounds now have runners on the corners in the top of the 8th. Two down. And, they'll need a miracle from Freddy Zamora who is 0-for-3 and 1-for-16 with a single on the season. Let's hope he gets that elusive poke. AND he does it! Reach line drive single to LF. Let's go, Freddy! 7-6 the Sounds grab one back.
  22. 3rd K for Kuehner! He strands a runner at 3B (two SB off Miller - bang/bang play at 2B). Gorgeous string pull change-up. Shuckers still lead 2-0.
  23. That was a 428 foot 110 mph bomb to CF.
  24. Elko again. LOL. He literally is a Brewer Killer. Absolute one out bomb. Two run jack. Bottom of the 7th. Sounds now trail 7-5. McWilliams.
  25. Adamczewski sends him home with a smoked liner the SHorebirds' CF'er shoestring grabs. Made tags and scores. That's Josh's 13th RBI. He is credited with an 0-for-4, 2 K night but that second K the ump absolutely blew strike 2 which would have been a free pass. Muddies trail 6-3.
