  1. Next pitch, a 97 mph heater, may have buzzed the press box. LOL. "Jussssssst a bit inside." Pratt may need to dig a bunker.
  2. WHOA. Luis Lara golf shot rocket over the RF wall. Well howdy doo!! That was a rip shot. 103 mph going 388 feet. 1-0 Shuckers.
  3. Mendoza escapes. Let me just say: don't let that frame fool you. He has some stuff in that kit. 17" of horizontal movement on that sinker. Has a slider and a curve. Interesting stuff to work with here. Kudos for getting out cleanly. Miller came back and did him a solid grabbing a tricky ball in the dirt so they squared even leaving the frame. 0-0 and the Shuckers will bat.
  4. AND, a routine passed ball by C Darrien Miller on an inside curve ball. Glorious. Maybe I should re-visit that RHP Shane Smith thread for some more pick-me-up. Runners advance. No matter. Mendoza walks the batter. Bases juiced. Two down. Pratt catches that ball? His starting pitcher isn't approaching 30 pitches here. He is at 24 already.
  5. First runner aboard on a recorded SS Luis Pena throwing error.
  6. We are in the bottom of the first frame, 2-0 Muddies and we still have no video feed in Myrtle Beach after it cut out during Adamczewski's AB. Talk about a Monday Report night, baby.
  7. So, we miss the Muddies putting up two quick runs. Adamczewski singled Pena to 3B. Bitonti singled him home. Di Turi ground out scores Josh. 2-0 Muddies. Nadal pops out as his early season struggles continue.
  8. I mean you tell me that is a natural angle for a camera view? Is that not wildly tilted?! It is literally always something in Biloxi.
  9. AND, no worries I was able to quickly scan over and see Wilken and Pratt nearly collide in shallow LF for a routine pop up and Pratt called it off, stumbled, and dropped the catch. Meanwhile, the Biloxi CF camera is leaning on a nice awkward angle for a slanted view of homeplate and the mound. Mendoza follows the Pratt error by beaning the next batter on the first pitch. This is absolutely Shuckers baseball in a nutshell. So much pain.
  10. Adamczewski just missed a first AB oppo (lefty on lefty) XBH by a matter of feet as his deep fly went just foul off the wall. AND, now the video feed cut out in his AB. Lovely.
  11. I mean if you are going to die on the hill of leaving Smith off the 40-Man was a defensible decision, I have amazing ocean front property to sell you in Death Valley. Hurry up before all these plots sell, sell, sell! I am unafraid to call a spade a spade: the Brewers absolutely botched it - pure plain and simple. It was also pure plain and simple the day they made their decision(s). You don't leave his massive toolkit unprotected under some fraudulent notion you need more low-velo journeymen lefties filling your pitching stables. It was egregious. It is egregious. And, well, here we are.
  12. The Made 'Ankle Gate' continues into the second week. Sigh. As we know, still plenty of top tier young gun action atop that line-up.
  13. Speaking of which. These moves are relevant:
  14. Ohhhhhh RHP Tobias Myers Rehab outing tonight. Big Deal for the Big Club. Fingers crossed we see a healthy outing.
  15. There's a lot of Hot/Cold rally kill strikeout potential in that 5-through-9 of the T-Rats current order. They're going to need to hope to see disciplined AB's from that group. Hopefully, Tayden Hall can continue his solid start and help that group so prone to the boom/bust tendencies at the dish.
  16. The Nuggest firing both HC Mike Malone and GM Calvin Booth on April 8th is wild. That is all.
  17. BUMP: DFA'd today. Sheeesh. Full write-up HERE
  18. Lemme tell you of the many ways I have daydreamed of the Torres/Holobetz duo. Lemmmmmmme tell ya, my Quad Cities Bandit!
  19. I get to watch Tyler Rodriguez play full-season baseball. Baseball gods be good. Nicasia to the T-Rats? My clubhouse is rocking!
  20. Are the Brewers flirting with me?!? I believe these two transactions would qualify under 'Joseph is Dancing, Pumping Fists, Popping Champagne, and Smoking Cigars' metaphorically. Distinctly two of my guys getting those nods of approval from the org feels like more salve on the wounds of the past month. The roller coaster ride continues.
  21. Congrats to OF Brewer Hicklen who gets another MLB call-up opportunity with the Tigers: Full MLB Trade Rumors write-up HERE
  22. Completely agreed here (as you likely know). I think Black has to start getting primary reps on the OF grass. It's made too much sense for a year plus. Let's just get that ball seriously rolling.
  23. I'm actually just sad we lost a name like 'Wolfram'. What a gem. BUT, gaining a 'Daz' is a fun name roll of the dize. SO, I think I'm already at break even.
  24. Jack and Spencer had a very good conversation today on this very topic. Going to post this here:
  25. 'Little Trade 2: Daz Cameron Boogaloo' has a sweet sound to it. Like a DJ set I would enjoy on Youtube's 'My Analog Journal'. Maybe some type of Afro-Cuban Fusion or Deep Cut Dub? Nice wordsmithing!
