    LOVE this for Brewer. Don't care about any thing other than: absolutely friggin' deserved. He has been Nashville's most consistent offensive threat throughout the season by a country mile. His only 'lull' was the first week back from his IL stint. Other than that, he has been getting results since week 1.

    I think what this pick states is the Crew are going to let him try the backstop again given he has experience there. He has some amount of pop. So, they are projecting - imagine that!? Will be interesting to see what kind of skill he actually possesses as a backstop. He has played corner OF. Best position may actually be 1B but announcing him as a C certainly states that they will give him a chance there.
