  1. I think the Brewers staff may be realizing they have struck gold via an entirely new metric: 1) Pitcher 2) Must have Tobias in name 3)
  2. Jim Callis' intonation and tone is so hilarious. He comes across as a perennial Emo whiner with every pick he discusses. 😅
  3. Got some athleticism in this frame baby. Check out this pounce and twirl and toss to 1B:
  4. I really like the trio of HS hurlers we grabbed in the first two days. Like, reallllllly like them. I'm excite!
  5. Oh, hey, another pitcher you say?!? LHP Sam Garcia, Oklahoma State - 115 K in 89 IP and only 19 BB. Yowza.
  6. LOVE this for Brewer. Don't care about any thing other than: absolutely friggin' deserved. He has been Nashville's most consistent offensive threat throughout the season by a country mile. His only 'lull' was the first week back from his IL stint. Other than that, he has been getting results since week 1.
  7. IF Molina can find more control for his breaker toolkit, we might have a sneaky pick here. The haircut and look will absolutely play.
  8. He has an uncanny resemblance, physically, to LHP Nate Peterson. Wild.
  9. Molina has a plus change-up - Low 80's fade and sink. Low 80's slider in there, apparently, but the highlights seem to show a curve (is that in addition?). Low 90's heater with good carry. Seems like another savvy low-velo Lefty for the vast pool they are building.
  10. Oh, hey, it's another pitcher? LHP Mason Molina, University of Arkansas.
  11. Best pitch is a cutter? Shocker. LOL. 109 Hits allowed in 88 IP.
  12. Looks like, at present, we are looking at a multi-tool heater touching 96 sitting 93-94. Plus slider. Developing change-up.
  13. RHP John Holobetz, Old Dominion (played a season at Radford). MLB had absolutely zero info on him. LOL.
  14. I can not answer this definitively. Perhaps they can? LOL. I should have said "Technically, I can't speak with any authority on this but ..."😅
  15. Well, technically, I believe he actually withdrew his name from the draft?
  16. I think what this pick states is the Crew are going to let him try the backstop again given he has experience there. He has some amount of pop. So, they are projecting - imagine that!? Will be interesting to see what kind of skill he actually possesses as a backstop. He has played corner OF. Best position may actually be 1B but announcing him as a C certainly states that they will give him a chance there.
  17. Hasn't caught since JuCo. Strange pick. Brewers rolling dice here.
