  1. Gardner just K'd three straight to begin his outing - including Ruiz and Muncy to open the 8th. THAT is the Gardner I know and love baby!
  2. Flores with a fantastic outing as he continues to truly shine in distinct moments throughout his season. 2 2/3 IP, 1 H, 0 BB, and 4 K. His K rate just continues to absolutely shine. RHP Sam Gardner will likely come out for the 8th frame - he already has a K under his belt in 1/3 IP. He'll get Esteury Ruiz and Max Muncy in the 8th. A fine test for Gardner!
  3. LHP Anthony Flores pitches a scoreless, 1 H, 2 K 5th inning spelling McGee after his three-inning stint. Man, Flores can strike a batter out with the best of them in the desert. That's now 52 K in 35 2/3 IP on his ACL season.
  4. RHP Easton McGee just pitched an ACL rehab high 3 IP. He allowed the 2 ER in his first frame but went scoreless in the two following innings. 4 H, 0 BB, 2 ER, and 5 K. Crew still lead 4-3 as they head to the plate in the top of the 5th.
  5. 4-3 Crew lead. Bitonti took 3rd on a pitcher change and first pitch WP. Alastre sent him from with a sac fly to CF. Athletics are back up.
  6. Bitonti just cleared the bases with a double. 3-3 game. McGee allowed 2 in his first frame.
  7. This shouldn't come as anything surprising. BUT, I do have some direct information from time-to-time from GB from within the organization. The J-Love deal is done. It has been crafted and agreed to. It's all formality from here. And, the formality appears to be: they want to start off Training Camp with an absolute Bang. The Vibes shall rain henceforth. You heard it here first. And, again, I think we all thought this would happen. I rest just a tad bit easier tonight.
  8. Baseball Propsect Journal on Molina, Tobias, and Dorchies Article HERE Nugget:
  9. I just realized: No Juco pitchers. We see players who have played Juco. BUT, nobody from the Juco ranks. Interesting. Which always goes to show you: a trend is a trend until it isn't. What this says to me more than anything is the Brewers are simply good at what they do and they can't really be placed into a given box whatseover.
  10. I do not. No. I think teams will go quite hard after their preferred UDFA's. I think the competition will be fierce. And, I think the turnover we about to see might be stifling to say the least.
  11. Another Poulson Special. My goodness. Straight outta Illi-noisssss
  12. 19th Rd: RHP Noah Wech, Manitowoc HS WI @wiguy94: my goodness. Take a breather!
  13. If you dip even modestly into Northeast scouting circles it is quite clear Renz has some big fans in the NE neck of the recruiting woods. One would also have to think: St. Johns would be a a bit easier to steal a signing from, no?
  14. RHP Tyler Renz, Cutter University HS in Cutterville. State of 'We Like Cutters.' **I'm kidding. He is from a HS, however. And, he does pitch.**
  15. 100%. I was being cheeky. I'm also of the opinion: when you are very clearly showcasing an ability to develop pitching at every full-season level...draft pitching. It's makes too much sense. And, being the Brewers, I again re-iterate: they find talent anywhere. Do whatever they want. I'll support it. 😅
  16. Man, just a quick glance at Malamazian (who also pitches upper 80's and has a curve, apparently), he has a really nice powerful compact swing path.
  17. AHhhhhhhh...yes. That's much better. Much much better. Apologies. I nearly lost myself for a minute there. Phewwwww.
  18. SS Cooper Malamazian, Nazareth Academy (IL) @wiguy94: Say it!😅
  19. Dubanewicz was Stoneman Douglas' #2 Starter. He went 11-0 w 1 Save and a 1.17 ERA pitching a shutout in the STate Final, apparently. Who was Stoneman's #1? RHP/OF Christian Gonzalez who is also a Florida Commit. 0.69 ERA. 13-0. 1.192 OPS. The nation's 122 ranked Senior. It would appear Dubanewicz is very very committed to Florida.
