Zamora swipes 2B. Cameron hits an infield single deep into the SS hole. Men on the corners. Still one down. 5-3 Sounds. Bobby Petrol update: Sat 92-93. Touched 95 mph. Sweeper was filthy. He looked very VERY good. -
Jheremy Vargas just hit a three-run two-out double baby. It's 6-0 Shuckers in the third inning. OH, also... LHP Robert Gasser a 2.0, 4 K, 0 R outing tonight! Going to have to go back and watch that later.

Freddy rises up! 0-1 two-run single up the middle past the diving 2B (with infield in). 5-3 Sounds. Huge knock!

Delgado follows with a hard hit double into the RF corner. Alfaro has to stop at 3B. Go ahead and insurance run both in scoring position. It's up to Zamora. Only one down.

Thankfully, Peguero escapes with a K looking on the inner black with two men on. 3-3 and we head to the 9th.

In a 2-2 count, Peguero clips LaMahieu in the toe. Ugly ugly work from Hudson and Peguero tonight. Brewers brass can't feel good about these showings.

Murray is 2-for-2 with a single blooped into RF. He has two singles tonight.

Elvis is haning pitches. This is not a good look. He gets away with another hanger as it is fouled into the LF corner. Everything is currently low or hanging.

Nope. He does not. He gives up a grounder through the left side on a first pitch inside sinker at the knees. Cameron's throw airmails Alfaro. 3-3 game. Sigh. Man once again at 2B. Zimmerman's fantastic Quality Start is wasted. He will not figure into the decision after Hudson and Peguero's inability to pitch clean sheets.

Peguero grabbed two ground outs to 2B to start his work. He then gave up a double to the Left CF gap. Runner holds at 2B. Man in scoring position now. Two down. That was a lefty. He will now face a righty hitting 0.200. Come on, Elvis. Let's shut this down.

Beautiful early work from Hunt. Three consecutive K and how about a weak first pitch pop out to the infield? Six up and six down. Shuckers still lead 3-0 and we are on to the 3rd.

That's now three consecutive K's for Hunt. He gets a K swinging on an outside slider. Two down in his 2nd.

Meanwhile, the Sounds all struck out in their top half of the 8th. All on high heaters out of the zone. Not a good look. RHP Elvis Peguero will look to fare better than Hudson. 3-2 Sounds.

Hunt opens his 2nd with a 3 pitch K - swinging on a low change-up. That's consecutive punch outs.

Shuckers get a gift. After a Vargas K looking, Lara hit a hard hit grounder right to 1B with the infield in. The throw was wide and off the catcher's mitt and they would have had Spain in a rundown. 3-0 Shuckers. Lara takes second when the ball went to the backstop.

Spain leads off the 2nd. Falls behind 0-2. Works it 2-2. Rips a triple to the right CF gap onto the warning track. Pitch was outside. He grabbed it none the less.

A ground out to 2B advances Candelario to 3B. A poke sac fly to LF scores him. 3-2 Sounds. Two down for Huddy. Nice to see RHP KC Hunt with a very clean and efficient first frame! Two weak ground outs. And a K swinging. Noice. 2-0 Shuckers.

And after that misplay, Hudson gives up a 1-2 double to the LF wall. 3-1 Sounds lead. Belt high heater in a 1-2 count? Not a fan.

AND, we have a Tyler Black misplay on a liner to his glove side. Tough play. Short hop liner. Still a play he can make. BUT, as we know, a play Black often does not make because he can't really play defense. Lead-off man aboard at 2B as a result to open Hudson's first inning of work in the 7th.
