  1. The interesting thing about the Dodgers this year is definitely their pitching inexperience. Kershaw would (likely) start game 1, and Roberts announced that rookie Bobby Miller would start one of the first two games in a series, so 2nd. After that, it's pretty unknown. Probably some kind of bulk/opener games involving Yarbrough and Lynn? It will be interesting to see how they construct their staff for the postseason and it's definitely something that could be vulnerable. Obviously getting ahead of ourselves with having to win the WC round, but I don't think the Brewers chances would be too terrible in a series.
  2. I wish I was as good at something as Tyler Black is at drawing walks.
  3. Is Owen Miller going to be the bat Sept. callup? Seems like all the other options are in the lineup. Which, I don't think would be the case if they were coming up?
  4. Heavily cherrypicked, but coming into today Black had been hitting 313/405/594 since August 16th(8 full games, day of his first AAA homer). He started today with a single as well. He's settled in nicely and I think he might be knocking on that door..
  5. Can’t wait for this company to go under
  6. My point was a (clearly) already athletically declining player was passed over by 2 large market teams bc of a medical red flag and that the contract might not age well. I don’t know how this could be argued against currently… but yea you know more than me! My apologies!!
  7. He has probably been a slow runner his whole career bc he has a severely messed up ankle. Don’t think that’s a good thing, anyway you want to spin it
  8. Baty has been terrible and Black might not even be a 3B himself. He definitely could have been the piece. But I think it would have been Misiorowski as well, would have been interesting what the actual deal would have been. I'm guessing there would have been another decent prospect in there... (Gasser, Lara?) Would have been hefty
  9. Odds Devin has to enter sometime in the 9th?
  10. Correa has been the worst baserunner in the league this year (via BSR), and he didn't exactly look spry on that jump. I have a feeling that contract isn't going to age well. Giving out a large contract like that after two larger markets passed...
  11. That TR infield with Brown activated is niiiice.
  12. I am admittedly not a huge Hiura fan but I feel like this next week is almost a tryout for Rowdy to keep his job come Sept 1. Could also remove Anderson from the roster and you gain two other spots, but I can't really see them keeping Hiura off the September roster with the way he's hitting and him + Rowdy on the same roster feels kind of redundant.
  13. Yes, it's a flawed way of looking at LA but when it's negative you definitely get the picture
  14. What a game from O'Rae. Worked a crazy long AB for a sac fly in the 10th. Already on base 5 times before that
  15. EBJ coming back and having a solid close to the season/Arizona fall league would be pretty awesome for the farm. Stay healthy!
  16. I've never heard the team in general talked about in this light. Pretty crazy how far the org has come
  17. Respect to the guy willing to bunt against that stuff 😂

  19. The first 3 true outcome pitcher. Strikeout, walk, hit batter
  20. Totally agree with this. He's just trying to throw it down the middle it seems and still has some pretty large misses often, but it isn't like a yips thing where he's in his head. Either way, his stuff jumps out like crazy obviously. Really fun to watch
  21. Getting hit by a Misiorowski slider near the kneecap does not seem fun 😂
