  1. S.T.R.U.G.G.L.I.N.G. Prince, you don't have to eat a cheeseburger. But maybe about ten pounds of turkey?
  2. One swing of the bat. One swing of the bat. One swing of the bat.
  3. Are there any Bob Uecker games you can play in situations like this? In all the years, someone HAS to have made a legit Uecker game.
  4. Haha, Chad freaking Moeller... great night.
  5. Hypothetically... Could Shouse be a starter?
  6. Just some comic relief, but remember when there were some people on this forum who were CONVINCED that Chris Capuano was the real ace of this team? I am not knocking Chris or trying to kick him while he's down. Just an example of how these games can make you a little crazy once in a while.
  7. Great series in New York, badddd series so far in St. Louis.
  8. Just about to say the same thing... but yeah.. Fielder with a hot single to hold the baserunners and then Hall with a DP is pretty much destiny...
  9. Well, it's definitely early when THIS Cardinal team is on top of the NL Central. We'll be fine and they have nowhere to go but down.
  10. Ueck and Costas talking about creepers... love it.
  11. If there is ONE thing you can say about V, it's that he does have great poise for a young guy. That's why, whether he gets Yosted down to AAA or not, he'll be just fine.
  12. Hall with a clutch hit? Hart is the guy you want at the plate in this situation... let's go.
  13. I think the Cardinals are just biding their time until they get to face McClung. Would be a great game for Fielder and Braun to get it going...
  14. As bad of a start as this is... we could easily still win this game, guys. Stuff like this happens all the time. I'm no longer watching the game but i'm listening to Ueck and doing homework. Don't turn it off just yet.
  15. Well... this is ridiculous... Just forfeit and rest the pen.. just crap..
  16. Just when you think this franchise has turned a corner you see us trot Gabe Gross out there for two consecutive starts... ughhh.. This guy is STILL living off that great start he had when we first acquired him. Judging by that, i'd say Kapler has bought himself at least 2 years even if he fails to get a single hit in that time.
  17. This is definitely as bad a lineup as you are going to see this year...
  18. Normally i would go check that out but i refuse to. Sports Bubbler? Is that suppose to be a rip off of the water cooler? Stupid. P.S. Gabe Gross sucks.
  19. I tuned in for the end of the Rockies vs. Diamondbacks for fantasy baseball reasons. Once i saw the FSN Arizona logo i thought i was gonna catch me some Darron Sutton action... Not the case. Does he still work for the D'Backs? Maybe he is just getting a day off. Or maybe they have their own station much like San Diego and FSN Arizona is supplemental. I, for one, really enjoyed Darron's broadcasts and would trade Anderson to get him back in a heartbeat, provided it came with a subscription to OmahaSteaks.com for a certain someone. P.S. Manny Corpas just single-handedly WHIPped me up a win when, leading 13-4 in the ninth, he walked two batters and gave up an RBI-double to Stephen Drew. Thank you, Clint Hurdle.
  20. I don't mind seeing the Tigers choke. Everyone felt sorry for them when they were horrible. Then, they built from within, and with a couple extra free agents they made a run at world series appearance. This past offseason, they spend millions upon millions and bring in the "best" players they can get their greedy hands on. Serves them right, i see no difference between them and teams like the Yankees and Red Sox. Trying to buy a championship. I'm glad it's not working out.

  23. I would say that this is where i sign off but i scheduled my night around this game. Who would have thought that offense would be the problem in a game where Parra comes out after only four innings and, OH YEAH, we are facing NELSON FEGUERROA!
  24. Hardy had the right idea on the hit and run but he just hit it way too weakly. Even a routine grounder gets through there and you got runners at the corners with one down. Oh well. The guys that can tie it up with one swing are going to get at least one more chance.
  25. Don't worry, we'll have something pretty similar to that when Mike Cameron comes back Which deserves its own topic, but when the season started i loved TGjr out there.. Now it's gross and i'm counting the days...
