    Let's just win and get out of Houston.. they call that a sac bunt? that was clearly a throwing error! Cappy should not have been charged with the earned run there. Then you got the Houston fans cheering every single time a batter makes contact like they just hit a grandslam. i hate texas.

    Stranded a leadoff double. Simply amazing! Cappy is having a good game today. He got lucky Biggio didn't drop that hanger into the STUPID porch, but one bad pitch i can live with. Cappy's problem is usually walks, so far so good on the balls and strikes. Now let's get him some runs!!

    we can come back from 9 runs down with bunches of homers, but we still can't get a single with runners on 2nd and 3rd.. we can work on that, though. This should get the boys nice and hungry to go out and win tomorrow.. Next time listen to "The Steve's" before you declare the season over after 5 innings.

    I know you guys are real dissapointed with this game, but from a season standpoint, like i said above, its only one game. We will certainly get better.. I think the reason this sucks so bad is that we (or at least I) get up in the morning and look forward to seeing the Crew play.. and win... When they absolutely don't show up, like tonight, it's a real let down.

    Tell you what.. a loss is a loss.. you feel bad for Doug's ERA, but even if it ended up 3-2, it was still a loss... although they might beat us by 20 tonight, it only counts for one game.. I'm not too worried, this will still be a good season.

    De la Rosa not looking too bad in that inning. I just don't think this guy is a reliever. Or maybe he just has control issues that will never be solved no matter how long he pitches. He certainly looks better the more he pitches.

    Can't stand the Astros Can't stand Berkman or Biggio Can't stand their announcers (volume turned all the way down now) Can't stand that we are making them look like hall of famers in their prime when i know as soon as we leave they will struggle. Can't stand that STUPID porch in left field. But on a lighter note, Preston Wilson has now struck out in 7 straight at bats!!! hahahahha.. at least i think he has.. that can't be right can it?

    i realize that most wins came against the bad teams.. But isn't that what we are supposed to do? we went 5-1 against Pitt and Arizona.. That's about as good a start as we could have hoped for, given our tendency to choke against Pitt. So we head to St. Louis where Albert is off to a MONSTER start. Yeah we lost 2 out of 3, but we came close to taking that series. We weren't blown out by any means. Then we go to New York and play a team that is red hot. Bullpen meltdown in the final game, but other than that we played right with them. Tonight was just strange, and we go up against Oswalt and Pettite in the next two days. We might not win both, but we could.. A split and we still go home with a winning record after a road trip against three of the toughest lineups in the NL. We can't just look at the games as losses. Yeah we might end up only winning 1 of 3, but if we are playing right along with them in all three games, we're in good shape. When the young guys start to perform, we'll get them back next time around.
