  1. please don't send Rickie. I know he is fast but please don't send him.. just let Koskie hit
  2. http://graphics.jsonline.com/graphics/sports/brew/img/jun05/pf613.jpg Some mojo, if you will.
  3. heeee struck him out.. lets get him some runs boys!!
  4. Looks like the crew is up to its old tricks... hopefully it doesn't take them til the all star break to make adjustments this year. Brady needs to stay put, he just isn't fast. Jenkins just isn't using the same approach as post all star break last year.. maybe his back feels better and he's excited and wants to mash, but really we don't need him to mash. We don't need anyone to mash. If this whole team just focuses on getting the hits and taking what they are given we will be great on offense. This completes my first rant of the new season: Game 2, top of the 2nd with 2 outs. Didn't take long, huh?
  5. on the plus side of things, since there is no FSN North today, they have synched up WTMJ with MLB.TV and we have the pleasure of listening to Bob for 9 innings.. Excellent, especially at work :D
  6. Well, if there is one thing Cappy can do it's get run support! get him some runs!
  7. Well did you tell them to move? did you demand the bobble heads back from them??? i would have been furious!!
  8. Man i wish i could have been at this game... Look at Chicago and Cincy slugging it out.. absolutely no pitching whatsoever. The Pirates are a good team this year. I think they'll be better than Cincy just because of their pitching.. Perez looks like he's back to form, and they have some nice hitters in that lineup. We pitched a perfect game plan today. Nibbled around Bay like we should have. Any complaints guys?
  9. 3K's now for Jenks.... That's alright, i have faith in his adjustment making skills.
  10. Anyone else think that will be Rickie's signature move that he pulls off 2-3 times a year?
  11. For those of you watching on MLB.TV, did you get sound during the player intros?? i sure as heck didn't and i'm pretty mad.. but not for long.. i know someone will have a copy of this they can email me or post on the site for download :D either way, can't be too mad.. its opening day!!
  12. Ben Sheets, when healthy, is definitly an ace on ANY team. He may have to share that honor with some players, but he is definitly one of the top starting pitchers in the game. When he's healthy he can touch 98 mph, add to that a REDICULOUS curve ball and GREAT control and you have an ACE. Look at his K/BB and you will see what i mean.
  13. less than 24 hours and we already have over 100 on this thing. Does anyone know how many active members are on brewerfan.net?
  14. nope.. i got the idea from another team map though. in my free time i will add more stuff to it. feel free to post pictures here and i will get them up on there.
  15. Add yourself to the map! This may take a while since everyone is still filing back into the site for the upcoming season.. but i made this tonight at work so that we can all see the strength of our BF.net fanbase.. i'll bump it up once in a while so we can fill this baby up!
  16. I didn't even know this game was on and i jumped over to MLB.COM just to check out some articles.. i read the one about Cirillo and his "foot tap". After that i noticed they were playing and it was on MLB.TV.. so i tune in.. There he is, 'Rillo at the plate.. Very next pitch, he hits a homerun.. crazy stuff

  18. Ned Yost with the walkoff!! Oh man, Nedly the 3rd must be proud.
  19. Can't make it to the ballpark tonight due to geographical location... Would have been a hell of a birthday, but none the less, i will watch baseball. And i WILL be representing the team with the yellow shirt i got from the big Logo Battle game. Good luck Cappy on 19 and then on 20, we're almost there! I leave you all with this: Left Field Seats in Petco Park: $20 each on Ebay Parking Downtown: $20 10 Beers and 3 Dogs: Alot Getting completely plastered and yelling obscenities at Barry Bonds on your 21st birthday from 5 rows back: Priceless
  20. Almost forgot, The last time someone posted the negatives about Helling, he did in fact go out and pitch great, but our offense did terrible. Someone might wanna do the same for those guys too.. Might as well start it off myself.... Brady Clark is over aggressive and is a poor man's Eckstein. JJ will never be an effective hitter after that shoulder injury, especially not tonight. Overbay fears the low and away breaking ball, and won't ever record another double for the franchise. Carlos Lee only hits pop ups and soft ground balls. Jenks couldn't hit a breaking ball if they told him it was coming, even if it was in a lame commercial. Hall is a show off and strikes out more than SPIVEY Weeks isn't even a fastball hitter anymore, so basically he can't hit anything. Miller, is OLD. Haven't heard the name Spivey in a while, huh?
  21. Happy Birthdday Joe. I'm extremely jealous that you get to be at the park to celebrate. Mine's tomorrow, but i'll start celebrating at midnight tonight and throughout the day tomorrow after a nap.. hopefully i can get some good seats to giants/padres so i can heckle the crap outta Bonds.
  22. It's times like these that i get mad at Direct TV.. really mad.. I had Direct TV through SBC and with that i of course had Extra Innings. I then moved and got it straight from Direct TV and expected my Extra Innings to transfer.. and of course it didn't.. Before it was registered in my roomates name, and now its in my name.. so even though we both paid money.. we get no baseball!! It would be okay but i still don't have high speed internet, so i have no use for my MLB.TV either.. Is there a way to purchase Extra Innings on a day by day basis?
  23. D-Bow in for D Save, i love when Bob makes that call. Gameday said that Miller left due to knee inury.
