  1. That's going to be an even worse loss than ours to Cleveland.
  2. Time to dub him with the nickname "Hollywood".
  3. He's OPSing better than Turang, Frelick and Durbin this series.
  4. Every team that came into existence after 1982 have been to multiple World Series except Colorado, and they have been to one more than us since.
  5. They were getting on base the first two games. So how does Ortiz always get an at bat with the bases loaded once a game?
  6. It would be nice if he got on base with runners on instead of leading off an inning.
  7. He won't nearly be worth the money he'll demand and ultimately will make from the poor sucker who falls for it.
  8. It's as if these hitters have no plan. Just guessing up there. I expect a few backward Ks real soon.
  9. You can point the fingers right at them if we lose this series. And Murphy.
  10. I'll keep the game on but will probably be doing crossword puzzles online.
  11. Them and Durbin have lower OPSs than Ortiz in the series. Let that sink in.
  12. The Phillies-Dodgers game is not going to end before the start of our game. What channel are we going to be on?
  13. Because they only scored three runs, one of them aided by the sun, and they lost?
  14. If Yelich is leading off again, I'm just going to assume we'll have to limit the Cubs offense to two runs maximum to win the game.
  15. Brandon McManus (quad) was limited in practice on Thursday, and head coach Matt LaFleur told reporters prior to practice that the issue is a "major concern," but special teams coach Rich Bisaccia later said that the plan is for McManus to play Sunday against the Bengals. McManus is 7 of 9 on field goals and 11 of 12 on PATs this season. Honestly, if the McManus situation is that major of a concern, I would rather just go for two all the time instead of renting some Carlson/Narveson bum to fill in and let Whelan take over the kickoff duties.
  16. I tend to agree but do we have enough arms to do that? Can you really trust Gasser to not be Priester? Ashby, Miz, Uribe and Megill is all I see that would be available to cover nine innings.
  17. Maybe, but this is October. You can't take anything for granted. I've seen too much Brewer baseball in my life to do that. I'd like to see them win a World Series before I die and if they don't do it within the next five years, they most likely won't.
