Just to clarify, and I'm not directing this to just you, I still think this team will be competitive, but this was a terrible performance even by preseason standards. I don't think most any of us care about the outcome of preseason games much, but what you want to see is execution, improvements from last season and disciplined, fundamental football, none of which we got last night. The same red flags we had last year (drops, holding penalties) reared their ugly heads again, even more so. This time you needed two hands to count the dropped passes we had. Hardmann was absolutely pathetic. No way he is making the cut. Our assumed two best offensive lineman did not play well at all. The defense played out of position so much that I thought Barry was back as our DC. The only good thing I took away from this game is that Golden looks like the real deal. Well, that and Sorrell played well. That being said, we still play in the toughest division in the NFL, and I wouldn't be surprised either way if we won the division or finished dead last.

Looks like Mariano Rivera won't be replacing Devin as Yankees closer.

That's what I'm thinking too. Yelich sits and Contreras DHes. I would think one of Frelick or Turang has the day off too, but Turang is hot right now.

That's what I've noticed about this team the last couple months. You give them an inch, they'll take you a mile. Could be a special team.

Wow, Uribe absolutely dropped the hammer on them. I'm pleasantly surprised. Hope Megill can follow suit.
