  1. If it goes like it has been going, he'll be at about 90 pitches at the end of the 7th.
  2. I believe it is time for an Adames HR. Which probably means it will be a SO.
  3. I wish Counsell had used him right, and not as a sometime-platoon partner with Tellez, but as a platoon partner with McCutchen. Hiura should have hit against at least half of the RH starting pitchers, to give him a decent shot. Maybe he'll be back soon, after they move a reliever back to Nashville.
  4. Sorry I didn't come into the game thread to say it was all over after the top of the first. Seems the team didn't need me.
  5. A couple weeks ago the Brewers' minor league teams had a cumulative winning % over .700. Now it's a little under .600, which is still really good. I was trying to think which teams would I most like to see well, and I think AA (for high-ceiling guys close to the majors) and A (for the new cohort).
  6. to be fair, things that have a 10% probability happen every day.
  7. From now on, I need to post something in the game thread whenever we're down by 2 in the first inning about how our offense will make winning unlikely. Maybe it will keep working!
  8. with our offense, giving up 2 runs in the first seems like we have about a 10% chance to win the game. Am I wrong?
  9. Can we play bad teams the whole season, because I kinda like beating up on them.
  10. I was wondering what his chances are of a callup.
  11. If they could expand rosters to 40 like they used to, it would be possible (though he'd have to be on the 40 man roster, which I don't think he is). I think the only way he gets to the majors is if he stays very hot AND there are injuries on the major league team.
  12. You have more faith in me than is warranted. ?
  13. I had remembered Kubiak as a 2b, so I looked at the stats. With the brewers, he played about 60% of the time at 2b and 40% at SS while being a full-time starter. I'm guessing they had a platoon with a 2b and a SS, and Kubiak played wherever they didn't? Weird.
  14. Binelas is doing well too. Damn you, Bradley! Why'd you have to suck so hard?
  15. I'm a newbie; don't want to step on toes.
  16. Anyone could do it. Give 25 points for #1, 1 point for #25, and add them up, get an average. include highest and lowest ranking to give some idea of how variable the rankings are. calculate median too, in case average isn't indicative of central tendency.
