  1. the wheels may have come off this team. need a pit crew to put them back on.
  2. Urias OPS+ 101, Wong 99. Yelich 91. Taylor 92. Cain 28. Hiura 108. Cain has been abysmal. Yelich only slightly worse than last year. The other guys showing normal fluctuation and being in a year where offense is down all over.
  3. maybe you didn't see the stats earlier in the season. They're still 10th in MLB in runs scored and 3rd in HR. .
  4. If Adames, Urias, Renfroe, and Narvaez are all playing, and playing up to expectations, the offense is back to top quarter of MLB. Of course, it would always be great to add another bat.
  5. So you're saying that it would be great to improve at every position. Can't argue with that. Don't know how to accomplish it though.
  6. man, they're really churning the front end of the bullpen.
  7. Brosseau and Peterson can finish out a game for Adames too, if he has to leave the game.
  8. Anyone thinking Hiura is a significant problem is as confused about him as CC is. He's still raking against RHP. He needs to play against them more.
  9. When is Chourio getting promoted? He's tearing up the Carolina League.
  10. Do the Brewers have enough guts to sit Yelich?
  11. Looked at how we rank on OPS by position. C 6 1B 11 2B 14 3B 19 SS 9 LF 26 CF 25 RF 8 DH 20 I didn't think Yelich was doing THAT badly, but you expect your LF to hit. Badly need Renfroe, Adames, Urias, Narvaez to be playing. Plus someone who can play OF (and DH, perhaps) would be a great addition.
  12. Stranger, you have mentioned the unmentionable of which we do not want to remember. Let's all forget this ever happened, again. ?
  13. Another 0-4 night. With few notable performances.
  14. With Woodruff and Peralta on the mend, it's not a great time for Burnes to have a bad game.
  15. Well, the top of the first could have gone worse. So there's that.
  16. Particularly since the Brewers are supposed to be big on analytics. Maybe they have a proprietary "grittiness" metric?
  17. What about when the poster is absolutely wrong?
  18. How about Enrique Hernandez as a buy low candidate for (mostly) CF? He's only hitting .203, but should improve upon that going forward.
  19. seems like going 0-4 as an organization has been a very rare thing this year.
  20. Speaking of cycles, when Kelley gave up a cycle to the first 4 batters he faced, how rare was that? Seems like it would have been pretty rare.
