And don't look now, but we're only ~2 games behind the Red Sox and Yankees for 2nd best record in all of baseball.

Funny, I don't remember seeing these guys as much 10 years ago.... (half blue) edit - probably better to say 8 years ago, since 10 years ago was the opening of MP... (doi)

Got ours yesterday... so excited that the Myday2001 household has gotten upgraded post-season seats... no more 430s for us... we made it to 310!!!! Course, the $3600 (w/ parking) for the post season is really shocking....

Really interested to see where they are gonna but my wife and me this year... I think this is our 5th year as a 20-game SSH, and in '08 we were WAY out in 436ish land.

Well written article..... Enjoyed it more than the ones over on the 'BIG 4' sports sites.

I know its great that the team is doing GREAT... and an increase in attendance is very awesome..... But, in a small, meager way, I miss being able to walk up and get decent seats, not waiting in line for bathrooms or concessions.... But I'll take what we got now anyday of the week.

It would be nice if somehow my 20-game fan choice package gets us better seats than in '08. Doubtful... but I have hope...

The Myday2001 20 game pack to date only has 1 loss... (and it was a game the In-laws was at) Personally, the wife and I are 13-1 on the year. Its so fun this year. Hawing, wife and I got put on the big screen during Loe's warmup pitches.... took a while, but we caught camera's guy attention and got him to put the two boys next to us on the board.. Those two boys had quite a night. One got a foul ball (during the AB that became Greinke's only walk) Was really a fun night.

My preferred scenario..... They clinch when I'm there in Person... we go club seats so afterwards I can go to Team Canada's suite and shake Mr. Melvin's hand.

I like that his name is Bernie..... Makes it seem more Brewer friendly....
  11. Dragonbait
No us yet.... talked about with the wife about what we gonna do this year....

soooo i shouldnt be hoping for a 100 win season? 33-12..... hmmm... how many more aganst the division.....

There was nothing to his GS trot or anything else there to make me think tool.... Its his first MLB GS, gave his team the lead. I say, 'nothing to see here...... move along....'

Have they Announced they are moving up Greinke (sp) to Friday, the website still have TBD for friday and Zack going Sat. Really would like to know whom I'm seeing Friday.

Found the quote off FSN-Midwest article....... '"But he missed the call and then a short fuse, a very undeserved ejection. We'll see how he handles tomorrow and see if he has a carryover and he gets upset and wants to take it out on us."

Just to add more to it La Russa denies playing head games enjoy.
  17. Dragonbait
To me, its the injuries to Weeks, Braun, and Gomez.. (esp Gomez) Just not as much speed without those guys.
  18. Dragonbait
I expect absolutly nothing to happen.... no bean wars, no brawls; maybe a stupid Larussa comment though. I HOPE we take 2/3.
  19. Dragonbait
More Plush on the Brewer's main page.... "Tony Gumbel?" asks Japanese reliever Takashi Saito. "New character?" They need to get Saito to say that into a mic, I gotta know how that sounded with his accent.

from the Power rankings over at yahoo sports...... "12. St. Louis Cardinals (58-53; Previous: 14) – After bean balls in Milwaukee, La Russa horse so high it had to be saddled by helicopter." Priceless.....
  21. Dragonbait
They didn't put St. Louis on that list though.... I was hoping they'd put it on there.
  22. Dragonbait
I had a good chuckle at it..
  23. Dragonbait
McCalvy's write up on this story was WAY better than the reporter from the js partner site.
  24. Dragonbait
If they finish 1 game behind us... we better have clinched earlier then the last day. ( I dont want that heart attack like with the Mets '08 )
  25. Dragonbait
I'd like to see the Pirates at least finish .500 (or one game better) Just so we can stop hearing about the 18 years or whatever it is since they've been relevant.
