I think you have your expetactions a little high. Morgan and Aoki are above average defenders so you might want to pick different examples. Hart is the average defender. He's not gonna win a Gold Glove over there, but he's not Carlos Lee either.
I find the comments about replay funny. I didn't see the game, only seen the replays, and from all the ones I have seen, I cannot say for certain if he was safe or out. The call would have still stood (IMO) with replay.
I do think it's just a matter of getting used to his style. Powell and Provus both seemed to have a natural energy sound to their voice. Yesterday was the first time I had to listen to the game (at work). Joe does a really good job telling you whats happening and it doesn't take long to find out what you missed while you were working.
The A-Ram is the best.... him going down the escalator with the big 0 really made me laff.... Akoi and Gamel spot must be funnier when you can hear it... hard with it being really quiet here at work.
hahahahaha Bob and Brian just did their interview with Dillard, His Roenicke and Axford are pretty good.. funny at least... Worth trying to find it. Yeah... His Carey sucks.
It was a little boring, (especially Mitch, ugh) Nothing too earth shattering to someone who follows the team. But still had it's moments of entertainment, especially the little nicky comp.
Ok, now that we've 'seen' him in person (albeit for only one game, and it was pretty late) anyone have any thoughts on his outing last night? His batting stance, just like most Japan players, is gonna get some getting used to...
He did seem quite dry, but he wasn't bad in my opinion... Definately has a radio voice though. His style might just be something we have to get used to... plus, give Uke some time to figure out what liquor he likes.
