Lucroy did just catch a full 12 inning game so it is not 100% surprising that he has the night off. Do I like it? No...but hopefully it helps keep his knees fresh. Addition: I am hoping that this free-swinging team doesn't give Halladay a new personal best for K's this evening. Just have a bad feeling about this one...

On a positive note: The extended forecast has one day in the 70's for the Oshkosh area! I know, those are never really accurate but we can only hope...

Nope...but he isn't looking for $150mm in the offseason. Prince's biggest value to the team right now, in my always incorrect opinion, is as part of a midseason trade for a shortstop and a MLB-ready reliever plus more.

So he is an excellent hitter since 07 but he wasn't last year. Trevor Hoffmann was a great pitcher for a lot of years but he wasn't last year. It's a what have you done for me lately world...

I absolutely know baseball very well having played in both HS and College. I will love the day that he is gone as the Brewers play in the National League...not the American League. You cannot continue to put all of that extra strain on your team with that shoddy of defense. It elevates the pitch counts, kills the morale and oh yeah, costs runs/wins. Sure, he can hit when he is going well...but when he is not he doesn't contribute one thing to this team.

Yep, 100% serious. I'm not sure if you can search my posts or not but I have been calling for the team to trade him for 2-3 years already. He plays zero defense, quite possibly ruined Manny Parra's career (look at the pre-dugout fight stats and the post-dugout fight stats) and is so amazingly streaky that he is not an asset to the offense. Sure, when he is hot he is scorching. When he is in a funk he is good for 2-3 pitches per at bat with either a K, a pop-up or a lazy 4-3 grounder. This team will not miss him. Edit: ...and it's not just the "occasional error". He is possibly the worst 1b in the league right now. He doesn't even make the routine plays anymore...

2nd and 3rd w/ nobody out...if they don't score here I'm done w/ this team for a few days. It's just not worth watching.

Please, please, please...can we PLEASE trade Fielder already? I cringe every time he has the ball in his hand. His hitting doesn't make up for all of these errors and unmade plays. Plus, he has a temper that runs even hotter than T.Plush (Go ask Manny Parra)! Get that jerk off of my team already!

Reds RHP Leake arrested on shoplifting charge I cannot fathom why he would have done this but, if guilty, he deserves all of the punishment that he gets. Oh well...another pitcher that will not be chucking it in the Central... (fixed broken link --1992)

Man, Morgan can't get healthy soon enough. I honestly think that Gomez is the one member of the lineup that could cost this team a good season. Well, YuBet as well...
