Tried the Vierling Micro-Brew Pale Ale over dinner last night (Marquette, MI micro-brew) and was impressed as heck. Great first taste, minimal aftertaste and packs a punch w/out being overpowering. I will most definitely be back at this Brew-pub the next time that I am in Marquette.

Look up "Wes Helms on Nyjer Morgan" on youtube. I didn't know that Helms was such a "play the game the right way" honk. Maybe he should actually be playing in St. Louis... Also, don't hit Nyjer Morgan.

Just a question here: Is it still possible that Prince gets traded at the deadline? Hypothetically speaking...what if Mat Gamel is tearing the cover off of the ball in AAA and during interleague play and is getting comfy at 1st. Do you think that the team would start to listen to trade offers again? If they do, I have an idea. I know that the Braves are at the front of my mind because they were just in town for 4 days. I also acknowledge the fact that a 4 game series does not make/break a player. That said, what if Freddie Freeman doesn't pan out for them? Hinske doesn't seem like playoff contender starter material either. Lastly, Chipper Jones is made of glass so my thought is that he will be hurt by the All Star game as well. Do you think that the Braves and Brewers match up? Milwaukee trades: Fielder, McGehee and a CF prospect Atlanta trades: Prado, Beechy and Kimbrel Thoughts?

Split the crotch out of my dress pants on a trip to Marquette, MI about a month ago while getting out of my Subaru Legacy. It is low and semi-difficult for a big dude to get out of. Worst part...it happened 5 minutes before I was meeting a client for drinks and a hockey game. I was able to get a sewing kit from a Country Inn that just happened to be close by and sew it while "using the bathroom" just after getting to the bar. I'm guessing that they thought I was doing more than a #1 but it saved me from having a wide open front of my pants http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

There is nothing passable about McGehee's defense. He simply cannot move around enough to be more than a 1b/dh.

Oh yeah...forgot to add that Kotaras is pitiful behind the plate as well. I was optimistic about this team until I watched this game.
