It seems like every time I look at a Link Report (trademark http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif) Boggs has an outfield assist. He is also quite a bit faster than Kotsay so I'd guess that he would be a welcome upgrade. -

This has been my thought for about 4-5 games already as Almonte is just horrible (that's why he starts so often). As Danzig said...game 15 matters just as much as game 162. We need the best product out there right now as well as in the end of the season. Almonte out, Boggs up, cut a catcher when Hart comes back = better top 25 -
From Twitter: Haudricourt Tom Morgan paid a price for collision at plate in Pitt with Ryan Doumit earlier in week. Haudricourt Tom Why isn't Nyjer Morgan playing? We were just told he has a deep thigh bruise.

Honestly, why in the hell isn't Morgan playing today? The only explanation that I will accept is that his shoulder is sore from the most recent collision at the plate...

He actually didn't...at least one of them should have been called a strike and possibly two. The strikezone got awfully small for the pitcher there.

What a bunch of crap! I called the T-Rats ticket office at 4:00 and was told that the game was still on. We drove from Omro up there to the game and found out that it was cancelled due to wind. Garbage! What a waste of gas and food!

Picked up a random 6-pack from Festival on Saturday. Sam Adams Creme Stout, Sam Ads Cherry, St. Pauli Girl, "Hopped up n. Horny", Flaming Damsel and Fat Tire. Liked them all except for the Creme Stout. Drank that after the Cherry and the Flaming Damsel...it was definitely the "thickest" beer of the bunch. Seemed like I needed to chew it...
