    If you would have been at the game on the 3rd base side you would have seen one elderly man looking like he was having a stroke, numerous children screaming and a LARGE amount of people standing under the overhangs due to the sun. It was hot, there was no wind at all and people were scorching. Just a thought...

    Hi all, Does anyone know if half of the Miller Park roof can be closed at a time? My wife and I went to the game today and sat on the 3rd base side. Wow, talk about baking! I know that the shaddows have been a big topic of conversation when they move across the area between the plate and the mound but if half of the roof was closed that problem, as well as the frying fans, would be solved.     I'm guessing he told Cappy to start throwing strikes because these were the lowly Nationals. Yep, that one is on Yost. And then he left Cappy in there after that...what a moron.

    How long do we have to wait for the "small sample" excuse to become nil? Suppan has really not done much to earn his big contract and it is becoming evident to even the most casual fan that he is not going to make it through 6 innings in his starts. I like the fact that he has playoff experience but he really has become a weak link in the rotation this season...

    Belliard may have looked at that for a little too long. Mench got knocked down last time for hitting a HR...maybe Belly needs the same treatment. GO PIRATES (I thought I would never say that due to the life-long loathing I have had for them)

    Hi all, Do any of you own or have a family member that owns a Ford Edge? What are your thoughts of this vehicle (good, bad or other)? My wife and I test drove one and liked it better than any other suv that we have ever driven (we mixed in a Lexus even)... Thanks! Hammer
