  1. Time to call up Crosby, if they win this game.
  2. Carlson please try to kick it into the end zone, please.
  3. They better get a TD on this drive.
  4. you’ve gotta be kidding me, you think they are going to throw the towel in next year?
  5. I just don’t see what Gutey saw in Carlson.
  6. Time to draft another kicker Gutey…lol!
  7. This will never happen. You are grossly inflating the worth of both Burnes and Adames, especially for one year before both become free agents.
  8. 17-4 217K 2.94 ERA 1.17 FIP
  9. Exactly!! 2024 is a rebuilding year.
  10. No worries, we just signed Eric Haase as our backup catcher.
  11. Wow, it seems we should have traded Burnes for him straight up with this information.
  12. Apparently MLF hasn’t only ignored the Barry situation, but his handling of Jaire Alexander could also be a failure. I think these 2 issues (which we are aware of; possibly more that we haven’t heard of) also appear to affect his players morale. The Alexander situation has been very confounding since Jaire’s comments on his playing situation last week. His practice/game availability hasn’t been made very clear and certainly are unique. It appears that Alexander has set his own recovery time and MLF doesn’t appear to have much say in his decision, from Campbell’s comments today. Does the inmate control the asylum? It makes me wonder if the trade of outspoken Rasul Douglass had something to do with MLF attempting to take back control of the clubhouse. These possibilities might be worth considering. Maybe it might be time to reconsider MLF’s employment status here.
  13. I believe Joe Barry is best suited purchasing a ticket and sitting on the top row of Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, NC . Too bad we’re not lucky enough to see him there on Christmas Eve.
  14. Because almost all coaches strive for a NFL coordinator position. Ask Matt Patricia on the Eagles, and he was a former HC. Plus you do everything possible to win games and make the playoffs. I really don’t think changing DC at any point in the season would be negative, especially with all the defensive coaches (9) still there to maintain continuity and relationships.
  15. I totally agree with this sentiment. At this point there is no way I trust MLF firing Barry this off-season. Either MLF has no idea that Barry is a failure or…what?
  16. So are you saying that MLF is on his own and is only answerable to himself until Murphy decides to let him go as Murphy isn’t playing GM or coach. Who breaks the tie on football decisions when Gutey and MLF disagree? There has got to be a system in place when MLF continues to make stupid decisions (Berry) where someone needs to intervene for the team’s wellbeing.
  17. I think it might be time for Gutey to step in and give MLF an ultimatum, “Either Barry goes or you both go”. Look how much the Viking defense has improved in one year after they hired Brian Flores.
  18. Yeah I wouldn’t pay the guy the $30,000,000 contract everyone’s talking about.
  19. They didn’t have Dillion in the backfield their last 3 plays.
  20. I don’t think so, the first Lions game followed by the Vikings loss were much worse. Probably this was MLF’s worst game this year. I’d also hold off on that large contract everyone wants to sign Love to this week.

  22. The Ohtani signing may have eliminated the Dodgers as a trade partner for Adames. Today the Yankees traded 2021 first round shortstop prospect Trey Sweeney to the Dodgers so they could open up a 40 man roster spot for Ohtani. FROM ESPN In a move that opens up a 40-man roster spot for Shohei Ohtani, the Los Angeles Dodgers traded reliever Victor Gonzalez and infielder Jorbit Vivas to the New York Yankees for shortstop prospect Trey Sweeney, it was announced Monday. The Dodgers reached a 10-year, $700 million deal with Ohtani on Saturday. The move also makes room on the Dodgers' roster for Joe Kelly, who reached a deal Saturday to return to the the team. The 23-year-old Sweeney, the 20th overall pick in the 2021 MLB draft, batted .252 with 13 homers, 49 RBIs and 20 stolen bases in 100 games at Double-A Somerset last season. Anthony Volpe took over the Yankees' shortstop job as a rookie last season. The left-handed Gonzalez, 28, went 3-3 with a 4.01 ERA in 33 relief appearances with the Dodgers in 2023, striking out 33 and walking 10 in 33 2/3 innings. He averaged 94.6 mph with his sinker and also throws sliders and changeups. Gonzalez, who missed the 2022 season after starting on the injured list, is 9-4 with one save and a 3.22 ERA in 93 career games with Los Angeles since 2020.
  23. Arnold recently said that he has no plans playing Yelich at 1st base. So I guess that’s out.
  24. Maybe even a phone or e-mail would work, too.
  25. I seriously doubt it.
