  1. Another bases loaded double play. Seems to happen a lot.
  2. Counsell has gone mad. He has Yelich batting cleanup (1 for 27) yikes.
  3. Lauer with a great start. 3 straight strikeouts.
  4. The good news Cubs 2-0 top of the 7th. The bad news is the Marlins are throwing a lefty at us with a 3.52 ERA. There is a 38% chance we will make up a game on the Phillies today.
  5. I’m sorry, this was said tongue-in-cheek. I realize that all the negative content was referring to his backstop defense, I was trying to support Mario in case he was reading the website (lol). But on different track, if it turns out (likely) that he doesn’t cut it at catcher where would/could be a secondary position he could realistically play ( hence my second post)? I’m interested in your opinion.
  6. Maybe they can trade Yelich and play Mario as the DH……lol.
  7. For all the Mario bashing last night he walks it off with a base hit in the bottom of the 11th. Sounds win their 90th 6-5. YES!!!!
  8. You are the most argumentative poster on this board.
  9. I’m right with you brother. But my expectations will be tempered.
  10. I’d love to see them make the playoffs and make some noise, but you need to be realistic., or you’ll set yourself up for disappointment. Obviously it matters how you are currently playing and who’s playing and who is injured and are out.
  11. I’d say at this point in the season they should be concerned the way they are playing. Trending negative before the playoff usually doesn’t work out too well. Remember the Brewers of 2020 and 2021.
  12. By playing < 0.500 (46-50) since 6-1-22. Trending negative, you know better than that c’mon man. They play way over their head the first 50 games of the season.
  13. I don’t think so dude. I had them at 12-5 last year and a loss in the NFC championship game. You must have me confused with someone else. That’s OK. i base my prediction on Bak not returning to Pro-Bowl form and Jenkins taking several games to come back along with a post- ACL slower recovery. TheirWR situation doesn’t look good and finally age ( and his frustration with young WR) catching up with Aaron. Defensively, with Walker and Wyatt acclimating to NFL speed they should be better…but not top 10 with Joe Berry as the DC.
  14. 9-8 no playoffs. Guetty not signing any FA receivers or OL is similar to Stearns not signing or trading for any batting help.
  15. You forget that we are around 10 games below 0.500 since the end of May. I don’t think we have a realistic chance to get above 0.500 next year, especially if we bring in a large batch of rookies.
  16. Someone needs to inform Counsell that we don’t have the same bullpen we’ve had the past 4 years.
  17. Counsell has absolutely no feel for his bullpen this season.
  18. My opinion for future long term Brewer OF performance 1. Jackson Chourio 2. Joey Wiemer 3. Garrett Mitchell 4. Sal Frelick
  19. My vote would be for Jackson Chourio as the best brewer minor league hitter. Definitely the one with the most promise by far.
  20. Badgers 14-0. 100 yard pick 6 and a 96 B. Allen run.
