    I can see how a movie could be criticized by a 2:30 minute trailer.... I cant wait to see this movie, it has been a long time since there was a good baseball movie.

    I disagree about this. If you are talking convention-goes and big business presumably you are talking the most casual of casual fans and nothing, I mean nothing, plays better in person than NHL Hockey. It would be HUGE with those types of people. Do you think Sarah from Accounting wants to watch a bunch of overly-tattooed and corn-rowed basketball players slack off for 3 1/2 quarters from the luxury boxes? Or watch some fast paced, hard hitting hockey?

    I dont think Portland and Florida need to be contracted. They need to be moved, but I dont think contraction is the answer. I still think Milwaukee is viable. Milwaukee isnt the center of Hockey in Wisconsin because there isnt a professional team there. Portland makes a ton of sense and then I think one more team in Canada, either Hamilton or Quebec, with my leanings toward Quebec because there is already tradtion of a pro team there and I bet they would be taken to quickly.

    If 2010 Dylan Covey were in the 2011 draft where would he have been projected to go? Im wondering if the Brewers upgraded overall with the selection of Bradley.

    Almost all of the negativity is coming from one or two posters, repeatedly. If a guy like colby is excited about Jed Bradley, that is good enough for me.

    Then I feel better if it is common to have these verbal agreements and have a guy taken ahead of the team. I just didnt know that they did it often with guys who could go before their pick. Thought it was done with a guys who were projected to be late rounder but taken mid round for a slightly better deal than they would get late round but cheaper than slot value.

    Right, so why work out a deal with a guy who could be long gone? I know Baez isnt a reach, but they didnt say the deal was with Baez either. Just that the Brewers had one in place.

    Dont like the idea of a predraft deal at picks 12 or 15. Tells me they are reaching for someone they know will be available because they have no business being drafted that high.

    I would wet myself if we got Lindor and Gray, much less one of them. Gray is most fav. pitching prospect given where we are picking and Lindor is my favorite hitting prospect, again given where we are picking.

    Chippys can be destructive too. My dad, who has an acre of land outside of town, had some chipmunks burrowing into his burm in his garden. He set a rat trap with peanut butter and decided to just keep setting it until the chipmunks stopped. 43 dead chipmunks later is snowed out last winter... Now this year he has muskrats doing the same thing. I think he has 4 so far.

    4 innings, 4 hits, 7ks, 1 BB and 3 runs? Are these lapses in concentration? Because like some have said his numbers outside of ERA have been fabulous.

    corey hart should be up 3 more times, so that should cover the current 3-run deficit. just gotta stop the bleeding.

    Its more likely he is toast physically than a mental head case. He could have just lost it, he wouldnt be the first.

    Im more worried about the 26 runs in his last 26 innings to be honest. Althoug a WHIP of 1.5 isnt encouraging either.

    So based upon a comment by Brian Anderson tonight I think Gallardo has given up 26 earned runs in his last 26 innings pitched. He is the weakest link in the rotation?
