I have pretty high confidence in the Brewers pulling themselves to a playoff spot without Black. Like a 96% confidence.

FWIW, run differential and xBA both go the way of the Brewers for the series. Brewers probably outplayed the Cubs, but baseball happens. Move on, enjoy the day off, and go after the Phillies at home.

Plus the upside is there for him to give you more. At least you know he'll give you value with his on-base ability and speed.

All this series means is the division isn't over like it would've practically been with one or two more wins. But I'll take starting with a 3 game lead entering the month of September any day.
